tsumugi only smiles sweetly, waving a spatula at you in response.

slowly, you snake your arms around his waist, nuzzling your nose into the juncture between his neck and shoulders. “red looks good on you,” you mumble, lips pressed to his back. he shivers at the ghost of your breath dancing across his skin, a flustered laugh leaving him. “you think so?”

you hum in confirmation, before pressing a kiss to his jaw. “i can’t believe you’re making breakfast today,” you complain lightheartedly, lamenting the delicious breakfast spread you had planned to cook today. “but i’ll make it up to you today. happy birthday, tsumugi.”
