I see you have a lot of ocs!! Which one of your characters is your favorite? Which of their lore came easiest to you? Who do you think was designed the best and why?
( 💜 from @tsunael )
I love all my OCs 😭 I love them each for different reasons and with different intensity depending on what I’m feeling / who is on my mind. And it would be cheating to say Zetoichi since he’s my sona and namesake and I brought him into FFXIV from my original worlds.
Other than him, it’s always a safe bet to say Baatu since he’s my main and I started the game seriously with him! He has the most in depth and thought about lore, though Aoki has the longest and most researched lore. I always come back to Baatu though.
Baatu’s lore also came to me pretty nicely as I learned more about Ishgard and some things just fell into place. Aoki also had some lore fall into place really nicely as I learned about the tribes of the Steppe. They’re both toe to toe when it comes to character and story building and the efforts that I put into them.
Honorary mention would be Tomiel as well! His story is originally a D&D based one. He is an Aasimar in those worlds. His lore was a fun challenge that surprisingly was easy for me to rearrange to fit FFXIV!
Right now, I’m thinking a lot about Shunbai and Makar (as well as another character I’m still trying to figure out). A few of them I have on hold lore wise since I am trying to build up info and content for others. I wish I had all the time in the world to just play with my OCs 😅
Thank you so much @cylleona / @tsunael !! <3
strained!
a scene from my muse's past in which they interact with someone they have a difficult relationship with
"Was your journey good? Was it worthwhile?"
The words resonate within her, hand pressed against her heart as Eva lost herself within Venat's ocean eyes, thinking of an answer that never came. When she first met the person that would later shape her entire life, the only thing the warrior was able to feel was pure rage. Yes, this woman was the reason why she was alive, why she met all the people in her life, the one person that connected them all. However, she was also the reason for her pain and sorrow, the reason why Eva had to give up on so many of her dreams to fight for the dreams of others. So was all that worthwhile or did she wish for Adam's survival so she could lead the life she wanted or to have never been born at all?
"I-I'm not sure I'm able to answer that question right now." She said within a whisper and Venat nodded. It wasn't an easy thing to weigh the story of your life in mere seconds, to compress everything she ever felt into a simple answer. They allowed silence to settle for a few seconds before Eva spoke again. "I think Adam, when he was alive, enjoyed it more than me..." And she could almost see the smile drawn onto his lips, his presence still a shadow of her existence. Venat tilted her head slightly but felt like she shouldn't press on the matter. Whoever that person was, she would meet them sooner or later.

♡ - romantic headcanon
Eva doesn't fall in love easily but when she does she falls hard. This doesn't mean that she will directly flirt with the person or confess first but that her love is so strong that sometimes it even scares her. She is not confident enough to give the first step but if the feeling is mutual she will love her partner completely. It is difficult to break the walls around her heart but she will try her best to be honest and fight for the happiness of the relationship!
☠ - angry/violent headcanon
Because of her primary role as the warrior of light, Eva is really desensitized when it comes to violence (as in her own fight against enemies). It doesn't mean that she enjoys her role very much but sees it more as a means to an end, it's more like if the people around her are happy because she followed this path than she can be happy as well.

Achieved! (from @tsunael)
send ACHIEVED for a scene from my muse's past in which they completed / achieved something they were proud of
From where she was, she could already see the sights of leaf cats roaming around the island. The sun was still setting, and those critters were running around before finding the best place for their morning nap. On the ship, people were waking up from their slumber, still unsure of what was going to happen. In between the scent of the sea Lyreis could breathe, there was the underlying fear of the unknown for the group of ex-slaves. While she folded-up her telescope, she stretched her back, then scratched her head. They always acted that way, and she couldn’t blame them, but it was something she wished wouldn’t happen after all those years. It’s not like Amra didn’t prepare her for this life, but still… She shrugged : they would change their mind after seeing the great city of Ayothaya and its people, all welcoming of anyone in need.
Going down the few stairs, she joined the ex-slaves slowly waking up and seeing the island not far from them. They didn’t believe something existed out in the great ocean, the unknown always quite scary after all. Her hands on her hips, Lyreis looked at them, acting once more as the proud captain of the Leviathan.
-We’ll soon arrive to your new homeland. I know some of y’all still don’t trust me, and I won’t blame ya, but ya can now see I wasn’t lying on y’all.
She smiled fiercely to the faces of those who soon will be completely free, and able to have a new life far from the horrible treatment of Rune-Midgard. The children were already unable to stay in place, running around and screaming of joy after the ship was close enough to see the jungle and wild animals roaming, and the city coming slowly in view. The adults, not necessarily linked by blood, were now together in this, and awed to the splendor of the land of the sun. Who would have thought a whole world existed beyond the thunderstorms of the ocean ? And that the most wanted pirate of all could sail without a worry, protected by the Gods ?
Setting foot on the island, Lyreis took her red hat from her purple hair and watched as the now free citizens of Ayothaya be welcomed by the locals, and even some previously freed slaves. Some family reunited, some friends found after many years, some lovers able to renew their vows. It was moments like this that made it all worth it, for her and her crew. Julian, her quartermaster, stood a step behind her, watching in silence, but a soft smile turning the corner of his lips that were normally set in stone. The only reward they needed, the joy of people being freed from despair and a fate sometimes worse than death itself. Lyreis looked up to the temple, farther from the port, and then, holding her hat to her chest, said a small prayer to her adoptive father.
“We’re doing it Amra. Keeping your legacy alive. I hope you’re proud of us…”
