Had a bad day? He's there to visit you with flowers to make you smile. Forgot your lunch? Fret not! He will be at your workplace with your lunchbox even before you find out that you had left it at home.
They literally would praise the ground you walk on. How could he not? Ever since he met you, he knew the heavens had rained grace over him for he has never met anyone so beautiful as you are, both inside and out. He loves the way you talk, the way you walk. You could be doing the most mundane thing in the world but he'd still be mesmerized by your beauty.
They would not be embarrassed to show you affection in public too! Holding hands? That's too basic for him. He'd rather wear those "king&queen" t-shirts and force you to match with him. Walking can hurt your legs!! He prefers tou carry you like a bride, all around town. Do not worry about your weight though. He has enough strength to carry his darling wife all day long and not get tired. Because if he doesn't, how could he become the perfect husband his perfect wife deserves? <33

You search for a reason—hunger, exhaustion, nerves. shuu x reader.
The tranquil sound of the night and released arrows filled the entire dojo. The soft and melodic sound you always hear and longed or maybe... loath for everyday ranged through your ears. In the middle of the blissful night there you were shooting your nine thousand and ninety-eight shot.
‘Fwip’
Applying every knowledge you learned from your grandfather and past experiences, really showed its result as you landed your arrow at the middle of the target.
'Kyudo... Kyudo... Kyudo..?'
With a heavy heart, you remembered the recollections that threaten to engulf you. Each memory is a double-edged sword, carrying the weight of past triumphs and defeats alike.
As you look at the target, your hands shake, and your eyes reflect the storm inside you.
In that moment, you understand that kyudo isn’t just about skill—it’s about facing yourself. Real mastery isn’t about hitting the target, but about finding calm in the middle of your inner struggles.
'One more... just one more.. and It'll all end'
You made up your mind as you snapped from your thoughts to get your bow to continue. 10,000 shots for a Wish.
An oath. A promise. A will.
before you could even continue, a figure appears just outside the dojo—a tall silhouette, hair loose and swaying gently in the wind.
You watch as the figure steps into the light. Strands of soft brown hair catch the glow, framing a familiar face.
Then, his eyes meet yours—deep, violet, and unwavering. The air seems to still. A shiver runs through you.
And in that moment, barely above a whisper, his name slips from your lips.
“Fujiwara...Shuu..san”
He was the one everyone admired—the kind of person who turned heads just by walking into a room. His presence alone drew attention. But to you, he was still a mystery. A classmate? A teammate? Maybe even a friend? Even so, he always felt like a stranger—someone just out of reach.
“Y/n san, Good evening”
His voice, low and calm, cuts through the haze clouding your mind. Just a few words, yet they quiet the noise inside you.
You force a smile, deciding to speak first and bridge the distance between you.
He doesn’t seem like the type to carry a conversation—leaving you with the space to shape it yourself.
“Hmm, What is the prince doing at saionji sensei’s dojo at this godly hour?”
You tease, your voice light with playful sarcasm. The heaviness from earlier fades.
Shuu’s soft chuckle drifts through the air. It draws your gaze back to him.
His violet eyes meet yours, and you tilt your head slightly, watching the subtle shift in his face with quiet curiosity.
“Saionji-sensei asked me to run an errand,” he says, voice low and laced with apology.
“It took longer than I expected. But… I was drawn here—by the sound of your tsurune.”
His words fall with the same grace as his smile, effortless, sincere… and far too direct. You suppress a wince at his honesty, instead answering with a soft laugh.
“You flatter me,” you say smoothly, your smile never faltering.
“In that case, you’d better get back to Saionji-sensei before she dozes off. It’s late, after all.”
Your words are gentle but clear—a polite push, hoping he’ll understand.
“That I should… Then please excuse me.”
With a small bow, he turns and leaves. You watch silently as his figure fades into the shadows outside the dojo, swallowed slowly by the night.
As the last traces of his presence vanish, your smile slips away, replaced by a quiet, familiar exhaustion.
"Tired... I'm so tired,"
With a resigned sigh, you straighten your posture and adjust your grip on the bow, steeling yourself for one final effort.
“One more shot...”
“Just one more..”
But as you begin to fix your form, something shifts.
A wave of unease crashes over you, and suddenly your hands are trembling. Your body shakes uncontrollably, a chill crawling down your spine.
The bow slips from your grasp, clattering to the floor as your knees hit the wooden floor with a dull thud.
"I'm shaking... pretty badly..." you whisper, barely able to hear your own voice over the pounding of your heart.
You search for a reason—hunger, exhaustion, nerves. You close your eyes, drawing in a shaky breath. In, out. Again.
You try to anchor yourself to the rhythm of your chest rising and falling.
Slowly, the tremors begin to fade, leaving you drained—yet still clinging to a thread of resolve.
The cold night air brushes against your skin like a quiet voice, urging you to stop, to rest, to give in. But you don’t. You won’t.
Not when you're this close. You grit your teeth and force yourself to your feet, eyes fixed on the distant target.
‘no... not now...I just need 1 more... just 1 more!’
‘thud‘
you lash out, your fist connecting with the unforgiving wooden floor. You grit your teeth, swallowing down the storm of emotion threatening to pull you under.
"Calm down... calm down... calm down..."
The words fall from your lips like a chant, a desperate tether to reality.
Each repetition barely keeps the panic at bay.
Your bow lies just out of reach, mocking you with how close it is. Your hands tremble violently as you try to stretch toward it, fingers brushing against it—only to fall short.
“It’s not beautiful enough... Repeat!”
“You have no time mopping the floor, get up!”
The voice from your memory cuts through the silence like a blade—sharp, cold, demanding. His voice.
The one that always came with expectations. The one that never tolerated weakness. The weight of that voice crashes over you, pressing down until you can barely breathe.
You force yourself to move past the pain, to ignore the sting in your hand, the ache in your chest—but the tears still come. They blur your vision, spill past your lashes, hot and bitter.
Am I losing it?
The thought surfaces unbidden. Is this madness?
It feels close—too close. Hovering just at the edge of your mind like a shadow waiting to pounce.
“Y/n...san?”
A voice breaks through—soft, steady, familiar.
Your breath catches. Slowly, you turn your head, heart still racing, and meet his gaze.
Shuu.
His violet eyes lock onto yours, wide with concern. You drink in the sight of him—his gentle expression, the furrow of his brow, the quiet worry in his eyes. He steps closer, cautiously, like you’re something fragile.
“Y/n san... Do you feel unwell...?”
His voice is soft, as always, but there's something new in it tonight—a quiet hesitation
You try to answer, but the words catch in your throat, stuck like a fish struggling upstream.
Your fists clench tightly at your sides, knuckles paling with the effort to hold it all in.
You can't look at him.
Not like this.Confiding in someone like him… how pathetic.
‘He wouldn’t understand.’
‘He couldn’t.’
The thought stings. He’s the prince, after all. Graceful. Composed. Effortlessly skilled. And you?
You’re falling apart on the floor of the dojo, choking on emotions you can’t name.
‘Damn it… I’m so disgusting.’
The words echo in your mind, thick with self-loathing.
You hate how much they sound like the truth.
You try to silence the noise, to reason with yourself—but the thoughts twist and tangle, dark and endless.
It's a storm inside your head, pulling you under. The harder you try to break free, the tighter it grips you.
You know it's irrational. You know it’s cruel.
But still… you believe it.And in that moment, you feel more alone than ever.
You feel the coolness of his hand press gently against your fevered forehead—a stark contrast to the warmth pulsing through your skin.
The sudden contact makes you flinch, but you don't pull away. Instead, you slowly lift your eyes to meet his, startled to find his face only inches from yours.
"You seem to have a fever, Y/n-san," he says softly, concern threading through his words.
"You should rest for today."
As his hand withdraws, your eyes remain locked on his.You want to look away, to hide the way your walls are beginning to crack.
But instead, you sit there frozen—unsure whether it’s the fever or the weight of his concern that makes it hard to breathe.
Eventually, you avert your gaze, your eyes dropping to the floor. Defeat settles over your shoulders like a heavy cloak, and you draw in a trembling breath, trying to steady the whirlwind inside you.
You want to speak. You want to explain everything bottled up inside.
But all you can do is sit there in silence, the words still caught behind your teeth.
"No..." you say, your voice unsteady as you turn down his suggestion to go home.
You notice the slight twitch of his brow—subtle, but enough to show he’s worried. Even without words, you can feel the weight of his concern.
Still, just saying that one word fills you with guilt.
You know you’re making things harder—not just for yourself, but for the people who care. His expression shifts.
There’s still worry in his eyes, but now it’s mixed with a bit of frustration.
Even he, the so-called prince, can see how reckless it is to push yourself this far.For a moment, neither of you speaks. The silence between you is heavy, thick with things left unsaid.
You can feel his eyes on you, quietly urging you to reconsider.
"Saionji-sensei told me you’ve been here since dawn," he says, his voice laced with both concern and frustration.
"Pushing your body like this... it’s not something I’d ever recommend—even as an archer."
His words hit hard, cutting through the silence like a cold wind.
He’s right, and you know it.
Your body aches, your mind is frayed, and still, you kept going—chasing perfection without pause.
You feel his gaze on you, sharp and steady, almost like it’s asking, ‘Why are you doing this to yourself?’
But even with his words hanging in the air, you don’t move. Your eyes stay locked on the target—the arrows sticking out of it feel like proof that your effort means something.
That it’s all been worth it.
"I... I know," you finally say, barely above a whisper.
He doesn’t speak, but something shifts in his expression—his frustration softening into quiet understanding.
A breeze slips through the dojo, cool against your skin. You take a shaky breath. Your head feels a little clearer now, the dizziness easing.
"Hey... what if the thing that hurts you the most is also the thing you love the most?" you ask, your voice quiet, trembling with a truth you’ve kept buried for too long.
"What if kyudo is the one thing tied to your heart... but also the main reason you're in pain?"
You pause, watching him closely. The wind stirs his loose brown hair as he looks at you—really looks at you—with those deep purple eyes.
"What would you do?"
you whisper, the question hanging between you like a fragile thread. He’s silent for a while, thoughtful.
The air around you is still, heavy with the weight of everything you’ve said.
Then finally, he speaks.
"I’d listen to my heart," he says, meeting your eyes with quiet resolve.
"Even if kyudo brings pain, if it’s truly part of who you are, then only you can decide if that pain is still worth the love you have for it."
His words resonate deeply, stirring something buried within your soul.
For the first time in what feels like forever, a faint glimmer of hope flickers to life inside you.
‘Listen to your heart...’It sounds simple—but your heart is no open book. It's a maze of fears and desires, tangled with doubts that often lead you in circles. Still, somehow...
his words make it feel possible. And as you hold his gaze, steady and sincere, you're drawn to the quiet truth in what he said.
Yes, kyudo hurts. But it’s also what gives you purpose. A part of you that still matters—despite everything. You draw a long breath, deeper than you’ve taken in hours. For a moment, the weight on your shoulders begins to lift.
"Thank you," you say quietly, your voice barely more than a breath.
He nods, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
Your gaze drifts toward the arrows still lodged in the target. In their stillness, you find a strange kind of peace.
Clarity settles over you like morning light breaking through a storm, and for the first time tonight, you feel like you can breathe.
"I guess I can continue tomorrow," you murmur to yourself, your smile gentle—real, not worn like a mask. It doesn’t feel like defeat. It feels like mercy.
Like you’re finally learning how to be kind to yourself.
Shu’s smile mirrors your own as he reaches out his hand, a silent offer—steady, unwavering.
You don’t hesitate. You take it, your fingers closing around his as a quiet sense of gratitude swells inside you.
"I can drop you off," he offers, voice soft with sincerity. But before you can respond, he adds with a playful tilt of his head,
"I’d get scolded if I let a sick person like you head home alone, right?"
His teasing tone catches you off guard, and you let out a small, genuine laugh—unexpected
Nikaido Eisuke found himself in an unfamiliar position—quite literally, as the smaller spoon.
He had unknowingly drifted into a nap alongside Y/n, and upon awakening, he discovered himself nestled against her, her arms encircling him snugly.
Unaccustomed to being the smalle spoon in their embrace, Nikaido was used to holding Y/n close, assuming the role of the large spoon. Yet, in this tranquil moment, their sleeping positions had reversed.
As he attempted to gently disentangle himself, Y/n stirred, reflexively holding him tighter in her sleep.
Escaping her grasp without disturbing her seemed impossible.
Deciding to stay, he found solace in this position. Cradled in her arms, it was a different kind of comfort, one that whispered reassurance, a sanctuary of safety.
Nuzzling into her, Nikaido relished the moment.
"Mmmh… Eisuke?" Y/n's drowsy voice emerged as she rubbed her eyes. "What time is it?"
Refusing to let go, Nikaido clung onto her.
"Come on, we have to get up," she gently insisted.
"Let's stay like this," he countered, holding onto her steadfastly.
Unable to pry herself away from his embrace, Y/n relented.
Her fingers threaded through his hair. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, just stay with me," he murmured.
His unusual neediness caught her attention. Y/n pressed her lips to his forehead, planting a tender kiss.
"One more," he softly pleaded.
Amused, Y/n brushed his hair back and placed another kiss on his forehead.
After the lingering sensation of her kiss faded, Nikaido let out a faint whine.
Y/n cupped his cheek. "Feeling particularly needy today?"
Nevertheless, she peppered his features with kisses, starting from his eyebrow and tracing a path to his nose, cheek, and finally the corner of his lips, concluding with a gentle peck.
Nikaido finally found contentment.
"Y/n."
"Yeah?"
"Love you," he murmured, nestling closer against her once more.

"are you done with your classes? let me walk you home"
— I'm telling you, this guy is so so so helpful.
— oh? you're having a hard time? expect this boy to help you and make you feel better.
— literally, this man has all the 5 types of love language!!
— word of affirmation? this guy would always compliment you. Always making sure that you know that he's proud of you and you did great.
— who loves holding your hand, especially while walking.
— I think this guy would be the type of bf who would buy you matching keychains tbh
— who loves to spend his time with you alone. School study at his house or your house? he's in. Going on dates with you at your favourite cafe? he's in. Reading books together? he's in.
— he mostly shows his love through the act of service. He loves to help you. He would help you solve your problems :)

"you did great today, [name]"
"make sure to eat this time, [name]. Take care of yourself."

This is me just randomly wanting to write and since minato shares a birthday the me why the heck not? I haven't written in a while so excuse me. Might write more but hit me up if u want me to write something??? Idk
You were waiting for Minato after school at the kyudo club. You were watching your boyfriend and his teamates practicing their shots. It really was a magnificent sight to behold. You always found tranquility watching kyudo especially if it was your boyfriend. His form was immaculate and everything he would take a shot it was as if the whole world had gone quite and a gentle breeze greeted you out of nowhere everytime.
Minato hadn't notice your presence yet but Seiya certainly had. He saw you staring which you yourself hadn't realise and grinned at you while giving you a nod when you finally snapped out of it. You could tell that you were flushing but the whole club was familiar with your antics especially Seiya concidering you had been childhood friends too. He walked up to you seeing as you were stuck standing at the entrance and he was about to leave.
"It's that special day today huh?" Seiya inquired. You nodded wordlessly letting out a small yeah. He only smiled as he ruffled your hair before leaving you. He really did like messing with your hair.
After a while you and Minato were walking side by side making your way to his house. You didn't live that far off and you had already told your parents that you were going over to his. You had something planned at his house seeming as it was his birthday today. The two of you were walking silently hand in hand when u suddenly felt his demeanour shift as he squeezed your hand a bit.
"Minato? Is something the matter?" You asked confused.
He just looked at you with a sheepish smile. "No it's nothing. I'm just happy that you're here with me." It was heartwarming to hear him say that but random however you decided to shrug it off.
"I'm glad that you're here too...." You replied softly.
You got to his house not long later but before Minato managed to get in you grabbed him by the arm and stopped him in his tracks. "Minato." You called out. You grabbed something out of your backpack and handded it to him. It wasn't much but it was a single purple flower. "Happy birthday." You mumbled shyly.
Minato seemed startled at first as his cheeks burn a bit by the sudden gesture but he smiled back as you placed the flower in your hand. "Thanks."
"I didn't know what to get you. I thiught maybe giving you a kiss or something but i felt like it isn't special enough. For spmeone like you. Who practically lit up my life from my childhood.... " You were practically rambling at that point. Minato suddenly got close up to your face and placed something in your hair. That stopped your thoughts in your tracks.
"There you look pretty..." Minato gave you a closed eyed smile as his face was still quite close to you. He had placed the flower you had given to him earlier in your hair. Your face definetly heated up as you started stammering. Minato just chuckled as he pushed you and gestured to you to go open the door of his house.
You did and you were beyond suprised to find out what was suprised. Everyone you knew was there shouting out happy birthday. This certainly wasn't your doing. You glanced at Minato and he grinned at you. You just stared at him confused.
"I thought so.... You forgot your own birthday didn't you?" Minato giggled when he said that. It certainly dawned on you that you forgot that you and Minato shared the same birthday and you were fussing about his birthday so much that you forgot.
"I maybe? Might've? Yes?" You answered. "Thanks Minato. You're the best." You gave him a tight hug, your face nuzzled in the crook of his neck.
"Is it too late to ask for that burthday kiss?" Minato whispered in your ear.
Hello!! Thank you so much for writing for Tsurune, bc no one else seems to :( could you please write some Shuu and/or Seiya angst with a happy ending?
Tsurune is definitely one of those underrated shows that I wish got more attention than it did. Maybe the movie that’s coming out will help give these boys the attention they deserve? I hope y’all enjoy this - although I’m not the best at writing angst. ♡
Shuu Fujiwara
“Just please go back to being my best friend, not the guy I confessed my love to.”
It hurt to say that — so much. The kind of hurt where you could feel your throat burn, and the brim of your eyes fill with tears that you struggle to hold back.
It hurt to know that Shuu possibly, most likely, didn't share the same feelings that you did for him. It hurt not speaking to him for days after your confession, avoiding each other like the plague and darting your eyes away in embarrassment.
But above that, the thought of losing him as your closest friend hurt even more.
You’d finally caught him alone, mustering up enough courage to finally speak to him. Someone that used to be your confidant now the source of your nervousness, and ever present flutter in the pit of your stomach making your words shake more than you’d like.
Going from talking seemingly day in and day out about any and everything, to going radio silent and cold was something that you would have never expected. But you figured that if you could go back, or at least try to, then it would be worth putting your feelings on the back burner as you’d always done.
Shuu as your friend meant more to you than your own heart.
“I can’t lose you as a friend, Shuu.”
You hated how small you felt in front if him, how you couldn’t even glance up to look him in the eyes.
You especially hated how even in this moment when all of your nerves were unraveling, he somehow - like always, had this calm unbothered air about him. Like the ocean of emotions you were feeling in that moment were just like ripples in a pond to him.
It hurt, and quite frankly, it was starting to piss you off.
“You really are an asshole, huh Shuu?” You let out a bitter laugh, your hand raising to rub away at the tears that threatened to fall.
“You never gave me the chance to respond.”
“What?”
You looked up at him just as he leaned in closer to meet your eye level.
And there was that look. The one in his eyes that you live sworn you’ve seen more than once when you catch him subtly staring at you. The look you pick up on when you manage to get a genuine smile out of the typically stoic Prince that stood before you.
It was the same look you wished you saw the day you confessed to him. The same one you missed during the days you made it a point to avoid him.
It gave you butterflies, and your heart soar until Shuu’s next words met your ears.
“I can’t just go back to being your best friend, [y/n].”
But before your heart could break fully, he followed up with the only words that could completely heal it.
“Because I like you, too.”
Seiya Takehaya
“You’re my friend, but sometimes I really wish you could be more than that.”
And sometimes you really, really wished that you could take back words as soon as you said them. Or maybe, you would start to think before you said anything at all.
The look Seiya shot over to you mid laugh when his mind finally processed what you said, told you everything you needed to know.
He hated the idea of it. He had to.
“I was kidding!” You force a smile, “I’m more than happy with us just being friends Sei, not like I’m in love with you or anything.” Your words trailed off at the end more than you would’ve like them to, your mind performing mental gymnastics as you fumbled for more things to say to end this awkward situation.
He turned his head back to the text and notebooks that were laid out in front of the two of you, snacks and empty juice bottles laying forgotten at the edge of the time, marking the time you two have spent studying this nice so far.
This was probably going to be the last study date that you and Seiya would ever had. Out of all the things you could’ve said - all the times you could’ve waited to confess to him.
Your heart began to race, and the corner of your eyes prickled with the first warning signs of tears but you willed them away, forcing out another laugh.
“I guess I should probably get going then?” You glanced over at Seiya, passed his face still gazing down at the textbooks, to his alarm clock that sat on his bedside table. “I didn’t realize it was so late, maybe that’s why I’m saying crazy things now, huh?”
Sometimes you really wished you’d know when to shut up, but Seiya’s silence, the rushing sound of your heartbeat in your ears, and the way you felt like bursting into tears left you no other choice but to keep rambling.
It was either that, or cry.
“You know Seiya, we’ve been friends for so long. Since when? Like middle school? And I have no idea what I’d do if I lost you as a friend, so don’t look into what I said too much-“
“Me too.”
“You what?”
Seiya, who had been looking over at you since you started your nervous ramble, smiled. The smile that would always make your heart skip a beat.
“I wish I could be more than a friend to you, too.” He wiped away a stray tear that managed to escape the corner of your eye.
