Asui is the calm and frank type and Midoriya is the anxious type so they fit each other pretty well. Whenever Midoriya gets worried about something he consults Asui, and she gives him advice and pat him on the back (sometimes with her tongue).
Midoriya tries his best to learn to read Asui’s expressions. He adores her smile. He is the only one who can distinguish her hungry face and her sad face because they look pretty identical. (I look very sad when I’m hungry okay)
Midoriya brings jelly for Asui whenever he visits her family. He loves playing with her siblings because he doesn’t have any. Satsuki (her little sister) calls him “broccoli head”.
Asui likes walking in the rain and Midoriya accompanies her sometimes even though he doesn’t like it, and he worries she might get a cold.
Mama Midoriya really likes Asui and often invites the children to her house.
Once Asui tried wearing makeup. Her eyes were puffed out like two giant balls and everybody laughed at her. Midoriya was amused but he tried his hardest not to laugh.
Midoriya is called the “weird kid Tsuyu brings home” by her parents. He finds them even weirder than Tsuyu.
Midoriya offers her his jacket when they walk outside because she gets cold easily. He also has lots of heat pack in his pockets.
They have study dates. Asui has some troubles with English pronunciation (because her tongue structure is different), and Midoriya works hard to figure out a way to instruct her effectively.
On winter days Midoriya goes to her house early in the morning to make sure she wakes up on time to go to school (because she tends to sleep in in cold weather).
She makes bento for him sometimes and she always put in too much cutesy things. He eats them all.
She tells him to stop immediately when he starts to mumble. She has sensitive ears so that disturbs her thoughts.
Sometimes when Midoriya is walking with the boys in the corridor, Asui hides in a corner and snatches him up with her tongue. Their friends eventually get used to it and just continue walking when they see Midoriya disappearing.
Midoriya saw a whole new world after French kissing Asui for the first time because boy does that tongue do wonder. When he remembers her tongue he thinks of dirty stuff and he curses himself for being a bad boyfriend. He is too shy to suggest moving to second base though.
They are called the “eyes duo” / “green duo” after Ashido saw them making out in the science room. Mineta vows to destroy Midoriya after this.
Midoriya jokingly called Asui cold-blooded one time (without realizing the initial meaning) and she got mad at him for a week.
Asui goes to Uraraka every time she has love troubles, because she knows Midoriya the best.
