Ok I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on this: I think the most profound part of Miss Americana is when Taylor mouths “I love you” because we have heard her say it a thousand times over in her songs, but her talent lies in not using those three words to say it.

I am SO exited to see the confusion that conservative country music fans have when they witness Taylor perform ‘betty’ for the first time ☺️😂

I feel like rep was a way to express the anger she felt as being betrayed and portrayed as a liar from the media and bullied from people around the world who didn't know her story. It's has more of a rock vibe to express her frustration that she felt.

But also to show people that she didn't need anyone else but her loved ones in her life, the people that care about her. She can make music in any genre and she knows her true fans will stick by her.

And she also made the softest songs like Delicate and Call It What You Want because she found love on her own that was truly something and not an idea of something. She broke through the hate and bricks they threw at her and rose like the unbreakable woman she is.

She didn't make this album to get awards and nominations, she made it to show people what she was feeling, her story, how she grew and learned from what she faced and to show people how strong she is and will always be.

Rep was truly a masterpiece that will always go down in history to us Swifties.

also all too well 10 from the album is...not that good and the sad girl autumn version is infinitely better. it’s a lyrical masterpiece but the album song’s production is terrible (also the outro is not good and was clearly only there to get it to 10 minutes).

the thing about lover is that....there are so many perfect songs on the album but then there’s also five complete skips 

as opposed to most of taylor’s other albums where i don’t have as many songs i love but i also don’t normally have any songs i dislike enough to skip
