Reluctant Shopper
Jin swallowed as he eyed the message board. I’m paired with Rosalind. I honestly don’t know why I allow these antics to go on, but I better do this quickly. He quietly asked Jake which room belonged to Rosalind and knocked on the door.
Rosalind was humming softly, quietly counting up her earnings for the day. The kissing booth had made quite a profit. She was pretty sure she almost had enough to cover her rent...though she was going to have to ask for an extension if they wanted the full amount. Somehow she just never seemed to make enough.
The knock on the door caught her attention. She swiftly hid the money in an envelope and stashed it within an old photo album. After years of staying in shoddy rooms and the not so great parts of town, she learned how to hide her money pretty quickly.
"Come in!" she called, moving on the stool to face the door. Thin fingers worked their way through her blonde hair as her eyes stayed fixed on the door.
