Another post about Titan's East but this time it's not about why they should have another episode but instead just talking about the team. (Reminder that this post is completely about the ttg versions only!)

(You can skip past this if you know who they are) If you don't know who Titan's East here they are an another team of Titans located in Steel city. The team consists of Aqualad (Garth Bernstein), Bumblebee (Karen Beecher Duncan), Speedy (Roy William Harper), Kid flash (Wallace Ruldoph West/Wally West) and Más y Menos

Now whenever I come across a post asking about these 6 (mostly on the posts asking why they are underrated or don't have many episodes) one thing that will be guaranteed to be in that comment section is 'They are name copiers!' Which I get why people think this but this isn't the case all the time. Yes, they have 'teen Titans' in their team name like how Robin's team does but this isn't the reason why the teen Titans will sometimes do things to Titan's East (such as Tping their tower in the episode 'Cy and Beasty') because if it was the reason then surely Robin or one of the other teen Titans members would state it directly. This also isn't the case because in one of the books when Robin introduced Titan's East he talked about them being the teen Titans counterparts & dealing with crime biocostally. Also Aqualad's rivalry with Beast Boy & Robin's rivalry with Speedy & Kid flash has nothing to do with the fact they are from the team called 'Titan's East'. (Except when Robin wanted to beat Titan's East in a game of baseball, get more trophies than them and a mansion). Which took place in the comics.

Another thing I wanted to talk about is how people will automatically assume Speedy is a 'knock off Robin'. Again, I get why people think that because they have the same mask, same shoes in a different colour and similar voices. However in the flashback episode (season 4) Robin was shown to have a different mask, different voice and elf boots but Speedy stayed the same. In the Flashback part 2, Robin was shown to have been changed by the teen Titans which is when he started looking similar to Speedy. They aren't exactly the same either because they fight with different weapons. Speedy fights with bow & arrows but Robin fights using birdarangs and his staff (etc). Also going back to the mask, let me just remind you that Mad Mod also has the same mask as these two.

Moving on. Another thing that people will say 'Más y menos are a knock off Wally west/they are basically one character!!' Más y menos were originally created because Kid Flash couldn't be used at first. They are able to use super speed when they make contact with each other and only speak Spanish. Más y Menos aren't exactly the same character either. Yes, they may be twins but they have minor differences such as menos having a tooth gap but Más doesn't. Going back to the 'knock off Wally west' if you are someone who still thinks this, I hate to break it to you but Kid flash is on the same team as them.

Another thing I want to say is that kid flash is NOT dead. I've seen so many people make videos on how Kid flash 'died' in the season 7 episode '50% Chad' because robin was seen pushing him into some acid. He DIDN'T push kid flash in because of him taking his team in the season 2 episode 'Multiple trick pony', he did it because he wanted to see if pushing kid flash into the acid would turn him into a mutant monster/villain. This is shown right after Robin said 'No that never works. Trust me I've tried'. Kid flash is still alive in ttg as he is shown perfectly fine in the following two seasons but as a background character. The most recent episode he's been shown in was 'DC leader swap' in season 9. Also surely if Kid flash 'died' in that episode then the other members of Titans east would've died in the episode 'Snuggle Time' as in that episode they were seen in a room with spikes enclosing on them from both sides but they still returned perfectly fine in the following seasons, so I don't see why this wouldn't be the same for kid flash.

Finally, I will be talking about the viewers decide. I honestly think that Titan's East deserved to have Bumblebee because they literally went looking for her and they would've acknowledged her leaving and respected her decision to become a solo hero. Although some of the reasons they wanted her back weren't exactly ideal like because they couldn't do chores and had tougher battles, which is strange to me because they have Kid Flash on the team and he can defeat stuff quickly. Also if they couldnt do chores how was he doing them when he was a solo hero? Moving on, the teen Titans cheated and rigged it so that Titan's East would lose on purpose, also they didn't really seem to care about bumblebee until Titan's East showed up. I'm also convinced that the only reason the Titan's mistreated bumblebee was because she was from that team in the first place. After being a solo hero for a few seasons, Bumblebee did end up returning back to Titan's East in the season 9 episode 'DC leader swap' which is why she's in this post.

Titan's East also won the 'Best teenage superhero team in the DC universe award' in the episode 'Were off to get awards' and in the comic 'Teen Titans go on strike', Titans East got given a mansion by the Steel city council because according to the Jump city mayor they stop crimes in their city every week without causing millions of dollars in property damage. This just proves they are the more serious Titans in ttg and to prove my point further at the end of the comic 'fouled out', Speedy said to Robin 'oh? Your team fights? I thought they just sung about food.' Therefore I prefer Titans East to the teen Titans (west).
