Recent (ok maybe not so recent) comfirmation about Goofy's state in the comic, mare me think about Goofy's and Max's relationship here. We know that Goofy's "gone", because he protected the ones he loved.

But how old was Max back then? A child? A teenager? It made me think. Did he saw with his own eyes, how his father.. "changed" into this.

Does Max ever look at his reflection in the mirrow and see his dad? If yes, then does he see the man that loved him with all his heart or does he see a creature that haunts his nightmares?

I also rewatched a Goofy movie-

And I though how looked their last conversation, was it pacefull, or maybe something worse..?

ANYWAY- I've got a little TOO excided and let my imagination run wild and made a small fanart-edit of them

I hope that we'll see blemish Goofy in the future!!!!

Okay okay okay, so, Max was 13 years old (have “Goof Troop” for reference) when Goofy was killed. So I’m sorry to tell you the events of “A Goofy Movie” never got to happen I’m sorry—

And no, Max — thankfully — didn’t have to see his father get mauled to death before he turned; a small mercy, I know. He did, however, see Micheal after his Blemish attack. Goofy had been the one who saved Micheal and brought him and Max to ToonTown.

Max didn’t like to look in mirrors much before this all happened because he was a little embarrassed to resemble his father so much (sorta canon to irl Disney I think) But now? He’s never been more grateful.
