But alex won't write his heartbreak so clearly, will he? He won't tell you it's a broken heart. He'll give you a metaphor to think about. You won't even realize it's about a lost love. I think he tends to write more songs about being IN love than out of it. But that's just me and I couldn't resist sorry I'll stop ahahah

tru.....i think u can still usually identify when it’s a heartbreak song tho, like love is a laserquest, fireside, 505, too much to ask, etc. i agree that he has more songs about being in love than out of it tho. and that’s alright you don’t have to stop haha, your contribution is welcome :)
