you ever go six years without drawing one of your own characters? all the time? Oh good, not just me then

Aku is my oldest character. I don’t draw him that often, I haven’t written anything for him in years... but he’s my little velveteen rabbit... er. Dragon. He was the first kiddo I wrote anything for, planned out a character for - heck. I think I learned to write FOR him. Lots of fond and warm memories for him.

Ugh hopefully these display okay, the new tumblr image sizes baffle me still. 

A fantastic person asked me to figure out my commission prices for pixels, so I'm doing some basic pixels of larkspur to get back into the groove and figure my prices out. Here are two out of three (possibly four) styles - detailed and super mini simple, haha. Now to do the in between!
