Thomastober Day 19 - Toy/Plushie Counterpart (OC themed)
I haven't made any new DFR loco customs so I decided to do a themed shoot with Warrior instead.

How to Dragon Your Train
Ok it's a phoenix, but to a 4yr, dragon is close enough. Ttte BR Class 37 Europhoenix, hand painted by me for two boys who are crazy about these 'dragon' trains.
Just repainted a couple of D40/D261/Bowler. Body shape is the same, and since wooden railway tends to ignore wheel configuration...
Yes I exaggerated the phoenix because the wooden one is portions are shortened and the phoenix is the best part of the livery.
Customs 👍
I present Mini Salty the Dockyard Shunter. I made this from an old Hornby 0-4-0 Diesel I had laying around since I bought the engine to make my tram engine. I experimented with the shell for oil stains, but was tired of seeing it so oily. I tried using rubbing alcohol to get rid of the stains, but it made the engine's blue get stained and look sunbathed. I then decided to ditch the whole BR blue look and do a custom. I chatted with a friend and let her choose the colors, it's when I made the red is when I thought it looked a lot like Salty, so decided to go with it. Cleaned up anything I could and gave him his paint. And that's about it, just wanted to share him, maybe I'll make him some faces in future.
