With Papa and Mama Gresley still alive (thank heavens!), that means  Thomas gets to have grandparents! Has he met them yet? I’m sure Papa and Mama Gresley would be ecstatic to meet their first grandchild and be quite proud of Gordon!

Well after the Great Race incident he finally does meet his grandparents in person

Honestly Mama Gresley and Papa Gresley didn't expect Gordon to have any kid, adopted or not. Gordon

has a constant loop of routine and a certain order of things... Plus Gordon was definitely not a family kind of puppet. ... So finding out that Gordon has an adopted son.... It's very surprising-

But they adore Thomas so much

They definitely spoil him

How healthy is Spencer's relationship with Mama and Papa Gresley? Does he get along with them? Do they talk? I know his relationship with his other relatives (Gordon, Scotsman, and Ryan) is strained.

Scott: Spencer used to have a very healthy relationship with Mama and Papa Gresley until the incident

Yes it forever messed up Mama Gresley and Papa Gresley but Spencer is on a whole other level of not well - Mama and Papa Gresley want to get him help.... And the Duke and Duchess agree with them

Spencer: You .... All of you want to move on- I CAN'T! ... I WILL FIGURE OUT WHO DID THIS TO THEM EVEN IF I DROP DEAD!

Mama Gresley: Spencer-

Scott: Spencer really needs it....

Imagine if papa Gresley and toby met-

War crimes, arson.. robbery....

The only thing that is stopping them is their wives, they don't realize that they're keeping the world safe by keeping these old men contained

Spencer is definitely a victim of this.

He mostly trips him, keeping Spencer alert and aware.

I guess this is more of a follow-up question to the previous one, but something was brought up that I didn't consider. Mama and Papa Gresley still trust humans even after going through such a horrific incident. Which, and I'm assuming here, probably means they support what Scotsman is doing, correct?

I mean, think about it. Nobody would or should blame them for any sort of hesitation or distance. They lost their KIDS for Pete's sake! Yet they still trust humans.

(and don't forget Mama Gresley lost her limbs because of humans)

They do support Scott a lot, yes they are very traumatized by everything that has happened, even though many bad things happen to them because of humans there was also a bunch of good too.

They see the ability of Scott and how much he was able to make things better make others connect together, why wouldn't they support their son making a better place for everyone..... A better place that their lost children would have loved.

How did Mama and Papa Gresley react to what happened to their children? Did they ever find who was responsible for it?

Not very well unsurprisingly, and unfortunately they never got the chance to find who did it

Spencer only remembers.... But he would rather find them himself and take matters into his own hands
