"Hey. Chrissy?" "What?" “Back there. With the bats. And uh—just now and—I don’t know, all the time? Basically? You were pretty amazing too."

"No way. I did not have bats try to eat me just to go crawling back to Munson Castle with my tail between my legs, now, we gotta finish what we started, right? You and me. Monster hunters."

since you're not finishing it, can you tell us how your hellcheer fic was supposed to end?
A lot of people have asked this! Sorry, I’m not comfortable revealing the end to a story instead of just finishing it. One day, if I do finish it, I wouldn’t want the ending callously thrown out there into the ether for anyone to see before they finish the story themselves. Stories are meant to be read and experienced.
And yes, my not finishing it leaves a gap in the experience, but out of the two options, that one is a gap I’m willing to leave. I wouldn’t feel right slapping a “I’m not finishing this, so here’s where I was going with it” on any fic I write (that’s why I try to finish them all) and leaving that kind of gap with a little bandaid ending-summary on it. Sorry!
Again, thanks for the interest! <3
so - another update for anyone wondering why none of my fics are progressing right now - see, I'm moving by 1/8/2025 from an apartment to a house, and it's Christmas time, and my husband might have heart problems? that's a lot to be going on with, so all fics are on hiatus until January, heads-up
there really is nothing quite like being in Eddie Munson's head though. when writing. I have not experienced such a buzzy atmosphere before nor since
took the holiday season off from updating fics but now I'm trying to get back into it (writing is 80% emotion for me and when I'm emotionally low-energy, so is my motivation to write). so here comes some updates to my multichapter ferris wheel-
can you share anything from the next hellcheer chapter?
Sure, thanks for asking!
scant minutes away from updating Lost and Rewritten and looking at The Things That Should Not Be out of the corner of my eye like it's the only other person in the waiting room at the hair stylist
