The moment that Birch saw this poster, his heart sank in his chest. It was ridiculous. This was ridiculous. But, his family and District were being held at metaphorical gunpoint if he didn’t do this show.
To most it was the easiest punishment that Snow could have given Birch. He had inadvertently (maybe a little advertently) pushed Ten to riots and unrest. This was supposed to distract the people of the Capitol and the people of Panem. It was going to show them that love still exists and can exist between the Capitol and the rest of Panem.
But, to Birch it definitely felt like the part of his life that wasn’t controlled by the Capitol was being invaded too. He couldn’t choose the love of his life. It would have to be one of the twenty odd women that the Capitol chose.
Maybe he could find a way out of it, but at this moment he had to embrace the fact that he was about “to go on a journey to find the one.” // @ttwsponsorsweekly
TRIBUTE PARADE -- DISTRICT NINE
Once the homemade tornado died down, the tributes for District Nine were revealed. For the male, an expertly deconstructed suit with carefully placed tears and dirt to complete the tornado inspired look. For Harper, an elegant look of the wind-swept Goddess of the storms that frequent District Nine in the spring. The wind-swept hairstyles, the storm-battered appearance, is meant to showcase the strength, power, and unpredictability of the weather; a power in which even the strongest cannot contain. The silvers play on the grays of the storm, the shine of the rain, and the ambiance of the calm both before and after the storm.
District Nine’s tributes are here to send a message, that they are an unstoppable force of nature.

WHEN District One legacy Glitter Rosseau started dating long-time bestie Wiress Neville, absolutely no-one was shocked! I was #blessed to interview these two Victor babes, as well as get some A+ parenting tips from Panem’s hottest duo of mommas!
Glitter came onto the scene with two kids: Emerald (12), or “Emmy” as she’s affectionately known, and Sterling (3). When asked how they reacted to the news that their mommy was dating “Auntie Wiress”, the couple explained that it wasn’t too much of a change. Wiress has always been a part of the children’s lives, she’ll just be playing a slightly more “official” role now that she’s their step-mom.
In terms of making their relationship work cross-district, Wiress tells me she video-calls most days during the off-season. (cont.)
