              BRUISES COLORED UGLY blemishes on the skin that she so vehemently despised. Blood dripped down a nose then, black eyes swell later. Obviously hurt and obviously numb she walked slowly. A hand cupped her cheek where it burned so brightly, red marks and swollen cheeks no tears were seen streaming down her face. CRYING WAS A WASTE. J stood there all dolled up, right after a show arguments unleashed her short temper only to be battered down by a man who never truly cherished her. It was fine though wasn’t it? Because she was someone, something to be used. He was the owner and she was his star act. Shimmering brightly in the limelight she so adored. Nails dragged down her face lightly as her gaze veered to the left catching the glimpse of another. ❝  --- What the hell are you looking at?   ❞ She hissed halfheartedly, unable to create a truly bitter tone due to her own turmoil. Bruises colored ugly, it’ll take time to heal but makeup can cover it up fine.

Unfortunately though, a few of the pieces she purchased were the wrong size so she needed to exchange them. The people she encountered there were less than pleasant. ❝They’re hardly in the holiday spirit if you ask me...❞
