Taste Imposition Exercise: The Gum Trick
Do you find it weird that Tulpamancy/imposition guides tell you to literally taste your tulpa to train taste imposition? Do you want a better way to train that skill that you can do literally anywhere? Well, here’s a simple trick:
Imagine the juiciest, most flavorful, and tastiest gum you know in your mouth, and physically move your jaw like you’re chewing it. Feel the pressure of the gum when you bite down, and whenever you do, flavor should ooze out and taste stronger. To further add immersion, imagine the sounds of chewing. The more realistic you make it and the more senses you incorporate, the more likely you’ll actually start to taste the imposed gum in your mouth.
You can do this anywhere! The main caveat is that your jaw might get tired from chewing. But, you can imagine any flavor you want, whenever you want, and it won’t be conspicuous! I hope this helps people trying to learn imposition!

I want a headmate, but due to ADHD, I have trouble keeping attention on things unless I'm 100% in it, and not getting quick results can make it hard to keep attention. Do you have any tips to help me get started?
My primary bit of advice here is simple: if you feel like you can't keep up the commitment for any reason for something that could go on for years, then creating a tulpa may not be for you. There is NO shame in deciding, "I don't think I can keep up the commitment of developing and interacting with my tulpa for the rest of my life."
If you need ways to remember to interact with your tulpa, here's some simple ones:
Set your phone background to a picture of your tulpa.
Have a phone reminder set for every half hour or so to check in on them.
Wear a friendship bracelet or finger string.
Slot them into your daily schedule if you have something to organize that.
I know the feeling of hyperfixations and special interests, but I have zero clue whether or not your brain will hyperfocus on Tulpamancy. I guess one way you can dip your toes without making a tulpa is joining some Discord servers, reading some resources, and participating in the community and see if your brain gravitates towards it? Otherwise, there's no perfect way to know until you start, which again, is a big commitment.
If this answer wasn't fully clear or you have further questions, feel free to send a follow-up ask.

When making a tulpa, don’t focus on hour counts. Don’t force yourself to reach a certain point with your tulpa at a certain hour count. Every tulpa develops at their own pace and forcing them to abide by hour counts isn’t healthy or fun. It causes stress and doubts, and both of those are an equivalent to tulpa poison.
Instead, try to have a good time. Making a tulpa for the first time is a once in a lifetime experience, and once a tulpa is fully developed, there’s little to be documented and the fun things tend to die down. Enjoy the moment. You got time.

Been getting into Tulpamancy/thought forms recently and I think it's incredibly interesting. I think all systems are cool as shit and I wanna learn more (and maybe make a Tulpa myself)
Tulpamancers/Tulpa's, what are some tips for beginners that you think aren't talked about enough?
