After reading chapter 159 I've started thinking about possible events to come in the next chapters and I just wanna throw everything I thought about right here to get it out of my system so...
Some of the things are:
- I think Saitama and Genos may end up fighting. Against Genos' will of course. I have the feeling that the last robot the Doctor created is just to test out how powerful Genos' got with the latest upgrade and Kuseno believes he may be able to control the boy, just like he tried to do in Bofoi's lab (although, unsuccessfully);
- Regarding Kuseno trying to control him, I think this will result in Genos having some kind of internal fight between his enhanced robotic part and the remnants of his human will, like shown in previous chapters at Bofoi's lab;
- I'm very uncertain about the state in which Saitama will find Genos when he gets to Kuseno's lab. If the boy is dead I fear Saitama might actually get super mad and start throwing punches with no regard for the state he's gonna leave the world in (I say that with that fight against Garou in mind, because I haven't read that arc in the webtoon, just the manga, I'm not sure how differently it went off so I could be wrong);
- At the end of the day, I don't think (and I'm praying everyday till the next update) we'll lose our beloved cyborg buddy. If he gets injured really bad there is a chance that Child Emperor or even Bofoi (tho I strongly doubt that) would help repair him;
- But I do believe he might go away for a while (?). Being betrayed by the person you look up to and losing your own identity calls for some time off to reflect and properly heal from all that. Some time to grieve and rebuild yourself yk.
Anyway, that's just what's been on my mind. I hope I get most of it wrong, except for Genos surviving all that. I really love the character 😭😭😩😭
