I miss Tumblrcrack.
I don't know if anyone will read this who was a part of it, but I was waxing nostalgic about it today. For those who don't know about it, let me explain:
Several years ago when Mindcrack was the big SMP on YouTube, some friends on Tumblr opened their Minecraft server up to people on Tumblr who were fans of Mindcrack and wanted to play on an SMP and rebranded their server into Tumblrcrack.
I joined late, mostly because I was nervous about playing with other people. I had never played multiplayer before. The first time I joined a teamspeak room, my heart was going a million times a second. I laugh thinking about it now.
There was a spawn town with shops and community farms, there were mini-games, we had Death Games, prank wars, megabases. Somehow one time near Christmas we somehow convinced Dinnerbone to join the server for a mini-tour. Tumblrcrack was awesome and some of my favorite memories playing Minecraft are while on that server.
The reason I was thinking about it today was because I thought back to what some of the Hermits say when they are asked if they can join Hermitcraft: 'Make your own communities.'
I had that for a little while.
I want it again.
