Today’s tuning view: A soundboard decal on a Ludwig piano denoting their awards received at the Paris Exposition of 1900 and the Pan American Exposition held in my hometown of Buffalo, NY in 1901. People like to make Buffalo the butt of all the jokes these days, but it’s a city with a rich history and was quite the happening place until the steel crash of the 1970s.
