Have you watched ep.11 of you’re my sky and what are your thoughts on it?
I did watch it. I didn't jump to watch it because I anticipated what they were going to do and I wasn't happy about it.
They changed Thorn to fit an angst that just didn't fit him. It's like they switched him out with Tupfah.
Thorn stuck with basketball and practiced to get better and be able to follow Tupfah. Because he has been in love with him for years and that love has never wavered.
When he showed up to the university he persuaded Tupfah to not give up, he out stubborned everyone. He didn't care that he wasn't on a winning team because he was with the man he loves. His own eternal fortitude knew he could survive just about anything. Also let's note that not once do we ever see a selfish bone in this boys body. Just look at how he is with his team mates and coach.
Then he is hurt and suddenly he is selfish, stupid, and someone who gives up. He is now someone who would go against his own morals and ethics just to play a game he wouldn't even get to play with his man? Plus, you telling me after years of chasing his man he's gonna give up over a little miscommunication? That he wouldn't understand a professional basketball player's schedule before dating him? The story line was stupid and didn't fit with his character. I could have understood depression and struggle but they literally changed his core characteristics! If it had been Tupfah acting this way it would have fit.
And don't let me get started on Tupfah. That man did nothing right until the end and honestly I don't feel bad about his nose. Cause he wasn't putting any effort into the relationship until he got some damn sense knocked into him.
Nothing was solved except to make it all Thorn's fault.
Am I still going to tune in for the next episode? Absolutely. Cause while this has landed itself into a solid 6 star series. It still beats out a lot of other series. Overall I've enjoyed it from the word go. It's not the normal plot and had very in depth characters. The chemistry has been good and there was never anything that hit my no factor. Overall I've enjoyed it, just not this episode. Somebody should really rewrite this episode in fanfic for me.
