These turkey stuffed peppers are a tasty, low-carb and keto-friendly meal that is full of flavor and protein. Great for making a filling dinner!
Ingredients: 1 large bell pepper, halved and seeds removed. 4 oz ground turkey. 1/4 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced mushrooms. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/4 teaspoon dried basil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Cook the ground turkey in a pan over medium-low heat until it turns brown. To the pan, add chopped tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Make sure the vegetables are soft. Put a half of a bell pepper into each pepper. On top of the stuffed peppers, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese. Put the peppers on a baking sheet and bake in a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the peppers are soft. Enjoy while hot!
