I'm publicly announcing that I hate the Australian Government

(I'm Australian BTW)

Here are some reasons why

The Prime Minister (PM) Scott Morrison denies that climate change exists

The PM's response to the Australian bushfires is by saying he will pray for them

Involves his political beliefs into his role as PM (which you shouldn't do, I would like to add I have nothing against his religious beliefs)

The PM did that volunteer fire fighters shouldn't be paid because it would ruin their ethos (the volunteers literally have to go when it's a national emergency, and some have been away from work for over 2 months now)

We have lost half a billion animals to the bush fires

The PM claims the fires started from "lightening or other things, we can't be sure"

The PM was on holidays in Hawaii during the fires and said "you know how it is, I've got a young family"

The Australian government is doing nothing to reduce carbon emissions because of our 'economy' (which is not doing very well I would like to add, the interest rate is below 1%)

They are doing a surplus, but literally adding no growth (it's like predicting how much weight you would loose if you went on a diet, but never going on the diet, then being annoyed when you don't loose that weight)

New Zealand born Australians are being deported back to New Zealand if they break the law, even if they've been there since they were 2.

The government can claim back land from indigenous Australians (that has been returned through native title) to build coal mines

The government is letting the massive Adani coal mines be built in Australia

The Australian government are not letting any boat refugees into Australia, and I could count on one hand how many refugees they've allowed to come to mainland Australia for medical treatment (in case it left your notice Australia is literally made up of refugees (except indigenous Australians) our PM's family literally came to Australia by boat a couple centuries ago)

They have introduced a scheme were single mothers go to 'parenting classes' provided privately, and through a series of various conditions, if the private business thinks they should do these parenting classes, then they have to go other wise they loose their welfare. Even if they miss only one class. (the private businesses also get paid for each person attending classes

The price of everything has gone up (due to inflation), but Pay has not been raised in ages

Statisticaly you are 'employed' if you work only 1 hour a week. So unemployment rates are even higher then they say

The current government motto is 'the best welfare is employment'

They are telling Australians that you shouldn't consider pension a given when you retire, it's welfare, in other words not everyone should/will get it

You can no longer live on welfare (new start), it is literally not possible to pay rent and buy food or anything else

As a form of welfare they are giving credit card things to people, in which you can only buy particular things from big chain supermarkets, you can't even go to an Asian grocer or culturally significant shops.

These are only a few things wrong, I could go on for hours

If you think that all Australians are OK with this, then your wrong. I should never have do be ashamed of my government.

And as a queenslander (Queensland is the reason Scott Morrison got in) I promise that a lot of us are also pissed off at the Queenslanders who voted him in.

**i would like to add, I'm not in anyway an academic when it comes to these things, and cannot say certainly that I'm 100% correct in my above statements. I'm just a pissed of Aussie who's had enough.

Crawfish boil today! I used the @slapyamama Cajun Seafood Boil with, fresh corn, garlic, onion, bell pepper, red potatoes, lemons and @johnsonville Andouille sausage. I like it spicy so I added some Slap Ya Mama Hot! Spicy baby!
