it's not like you're a writing machine. writing isn't an activity that you can do constantly at a consistent pace. just look after yourself. it'll come to you. even if it doesn't, all you have to do is tackle it one word at a time. don't rush it

I know but I used to be able to pound out an entire 40k fanfiction in a couple of days. Shattered Facade was written in less than a week and the first 100k of Steered Straight was written in about a month. Now I can barely get out a paragraph a day. I’ve been writing Freedom of the Press since last November. I should have finished it a long time ago. It’s coming up on a year now. I guess I’m just frustrated as all. I’m not used to working at such a slow pace. Thanks for the encouragement though. I do appreciate it
