okay so im just putting down all the sexualities n genders of people in this au so i dont forget anything ben-transboy, gay, ace (i think im not sure but like??? no downside to making him ace yanno so ill probably go with it)(i havnt decided yet how transitioned ben is (like, is he on t? has he had top surgery? yanno) but i know that his dads supportive of him) caleb-cis and pansexual (i havnt put any time into thinking abt caleb sexuality before lmao all that was relevant was that he def likes boys but i think hes pan)(is there a huge difference between being pan and bi no there is not but im making caleb pan suck it) abe-transboy, bi (lmao im just gonna base all abes experiences bing trans on my experiences bc both our dads dont believe we’re trans!!!! so abe hasnt been able to transition at all he just uses sport bras n stuff to bind and probably cuts his own hair) rob-transboy, 100% full homo(his dad is super supportive and great, i think rob has gotten top surgery and is probably on t) anna-transgirl, bisexual (we dont know anything abt annas family situation but i feel like theyd be supportive of her, but her family is sorta the black sheep in her town and she sometimes blames herself for that) mary-cis, bisexual (her family Does Not Like™ that shes bisexual and theyre probably really rude to anna. maybe shes like abes cousin in this au?) abigail-transgirl, straight (we are given exactly 0 information about abigail’s family situation in turn so i really have no idea but ill make her family supportive and nice. im not a trangirl so idk a ton about how she’d transition, but ill do research tomorrow n look it up) andre- idk man cis and bisexual probably hes not even gonna be in anything lmao

okay so im having trouble who in my turnblr au would be a Discourse Heavy. abe would obviously be one bc hes very argumentative and has a lotta angst abt his dad n stuff. ben and caleb are very reckless n dumb irl, but i feel like theres a big difference between getting in fights online and getting in fights online. i dont think that either of them would get in proper spats too often, bc theyre not really petty> yanno? i feel like if either of them saw a lotta discourse happening theyd make a post to address it on their own and probably tryn correct people who were wrong about an issue yanno? im afraid im woobifing them tho idk. i feel like anna is also a very fighty person irl, and if there was more equality n stuff shed probably get in just as many fights as ben and caleb. so i think in the modern day she probably approaches discourse the same way that ben and caleb do. mary im really not sure about though, bc she obviously has very strong opinions and stuff, but during turn she had expectations as a mother and a wife so she couldnt really be all that fighty. im not sure how that would tranfer to the modern era, but i feel like shed probably try and stay out of drama and stay in her own lane and stuff. she'd only get involved if everyone else was involved n having a hard time i think. abigail?????? idk man abigail is too smart to get sucked into tumblr she probably has an instagram and a twitter and thats it. rob would be 100% discourse free, partly bc he doesnt wanna start shit and partly bc he wants his blog to be sorta an escape, yanno? im sure that if someone tried to start shit w him he'd either ignore it or just be really shady. i feel like there has been some point where he just murdered someone who tried to do something to his dad tho (maybe a reference to the Punch, only not against caleb bc i dont need that drama) i feel like the whole gang would come together n fight people together tho, like the scooby gang of discourse or smthng. if u have anything to add hmu

okayokayokay so last night at two in the morning i had an idea for an au but theres a lotta stuff to keep track of so im making this post as sort a layout and if you have any suggestions or wanna talk about it with me hmu

okay so the au is based off of the prompt “your URL is really similar to my friend’s and I accidentally messaged you” by @waitineedaname, so basically abe accidentally sends rob (who he has never spoken to before) an ask that just says ‘piss on me and ill punch you in the face’ in all caps, and eventually they fall in love or some bullshit. im not super set on a plot but whatever this post is about world building. so

abe’s url is cabbage-farmers-against-thespians and i think his theme is p. unique. idk how to describe it super well, but when i was writing it i was sorta basing it off of bpmagneto’s old theme. they changed it like yesterday but im gonna try and find it so i can show it to people. anyway. abe probably mostly posts memes n humor stuff and gets in fights w people.

rob’s url is idontmakeoats bc hes a quaker get it. he posts most aesthetic stuff n doesnt really talk to most people. his dad probably has more followers than him. his theme is a single infinity scrolling column in the middle of the screen, with some sort of aesthetic background, and links at the top. (ill try and find an example later) ben’s url is bluesandgolds (if devens okay with that it was the only thing i could think up sue me). he doesnt post a ton of stuff n doesnt really understand tumblr, mostly talks abt his dog and books he reads and history (nerd). people like him tho bc hes sweet and drama free and has good bone structure. im not sure about his theme, im thinking something like devens old theme (do you remember it? its sorta similar to mine, only it doesnt have a drop down menu or a pixel font and it had a better color scheme.) im not super sure about calebs url, but im thinking orthewhale bc moby dick yanno? whales? anyway he mostly posts shitposts and dogs and is cute. his theme has 2 columns and links on the side in little icons, if that makes sense. 2 am me didnt put a lot of time into anna and marys themes but theyll be in the fic. tell me what you think and stuff
