This isn't question, I just wanted to say this to someone who cared: The fact that Nico is 14 and is (somewhat) openly gay makes me feel a lot more accepted for being a queer 15 year old. Sure the other characters are great, but I see people call Nico's sexuality in the books "problematic" all the time. I get it, but think about the other side; This is teaching young kids about lgbtq+ issues that are swept under the rug by parents and teachers. If anything, it gives me faith in humanity.
That’s awesome! :) I’m a huge supporter of Nico’s sexuality in the books, and I definitely wouldn’t say it was problematic whatsoever.
Nico’s done so much for the readers, and the lgbtq+ community.
