Callum and his unhealthy obsession toward a niffler.

The interviewer asked them to chose their fav fantastic beasts characters and he said a niffler lmao. While Eddie and Katherine thought about actors. 😂

And the other time when Josh asked them if they could play another character what they would like to play and without hesitation he said he want to be a freaking niffler. Like he has been thinking about it for awhile looking at how fast he answered it 😂

My take on this is Callum really want to play alongside Eddie so much to the point he want to be a niffler so bad because of the opportunity to share screen time with Eddie is higher when you are a niffler 😂😂 He is true to his character Theseus who got competitive or jealous for Newt's affection over his creatures such as a niffler.
