EMMA... but the movie emma. .. STORY TIME: So I was listening to Miss Peregrine and I wanted to have images of the character in mind (’cause like, there’s barely any descriptions in that book l o l), so I looked up the characters and it confused me more because they swapped the powers of Emma and Olive in the movie. BUT I was maybe like 1/4th done with book 1 when I realized that. I read that it was done because fire powers are cliche for main character but a cute girl in big ol’ iron boots is COOL. (I agree) so as I was listening to audiobooks 1-3, I kind of replaced fire Emma with floaty Emma and I think I liked that idea better. :’) I’ve never seen the movie though.. but anyway, cottagecore for cutegirltober
