#TurtleQuest "Peking Duck" was a breath of fresh air after the agony that was "Michelangelo Toys Around". The plot is pretty outlandish and wacky, but not annoyingly so. The best scene was Splinter casually destroying his sons at basketball.

#TurtleQuest Season 4 kicks off! Decoy robot Splinter trying to start the animal uprising was the only good thing about "Plan 6 from Outer Space". Not even Rocksteady and Bebop accidentally rising to the top of Channel 6 was good, because of the stupid human disguises they had to have. Nobody wants human Splinter to return, and the same applies to our mutant henchmen. Turns out it was Bebop's fault that Swat Kats was cancelled, the swine. Oh, and the Turtles are idiots, like holy frick do they not even try. But at least Splinter (or robot Splinter) is fun.
#TurtleQuest (2/2) And with that, Season 3 comes to a close. I started this journey embarrassingly-many years ago, but this ongoing project really helps me to unwind and have fun with one of my childhood series, and keep me artistically sharp at the same time. Now that I'm here, I'm determined to continue. Season 4 coming up!
#TurtleQuest "The Big Break-In" was a big dud - but at least it had some Splinter-being-cute scenes. One more episode of season 3 to go!
#TurtleQuest "The Big Blow Out" capped off Season 3 with a big kaboom. Not the best overall episode in terms of quality, but an acceptable cap-off to the season nonetheless. Splinter was the star of this episode (it's almost like him being more active in the series is a good thing or something). (1/2)
#TurtleQuest
This is how "Turtles of the Jungle" made me feel. Just really unimpressed by such a nothing episode. BUT... at least it's better than "Michelangelo Toys Around"... that one felt like an eternity to watch, it was horrible. Season 4 is not getting off to the best start.
#TurtleQuest “This is April O’Neil, uh, being signed off.” The 3-part Season 3 finale kicks off with “The Big Rip Off” - the most appropriate name for an episode yet. Seriously, how can such an important episode be so mediocre? The animation alone is unacceptably poor, and yet, the underlying plot is SO good. For once, our villains WIN, and the consequences of that victory will build over the next two episodes. But do the heroes feel the gravity of their failure at the end of the episode? Of course not. Instead, they ring out the episode with a lame pun, as if it didn’t even matter. (sigh) This episode deserved to be so much better than it is. Let’s hope the other two will step it up.
#TurtleQuest “Bye, Bye, Fly” Finally, another episode worth talking about. “Bye, Bye, Fly” is a solid episode, full of humor and great moments from most of our main cast. Rocksteady and Bebop in particular really get to shine.
Rocksteady: “Me and Bebop made plans!” Yep, they were going on a date. 🦏❤️🐗
