My first time making comic tutorial. For beginners, especially those who sucks at lineart (like me) or wanna try lineless painting. This technique used by an Odin Sphere’s artist and I just simplified it for beginners. Sorry in advance for grammar error and confusing terms.

It’s for SAI, but you can also apply this to any other digital art programs.

Are you going to do more advice/tutorial comics? I have the others printed out and hung up on my wall. I look at them all the time and I would love more!

Aah oh my gosh that's amazing thank you ;__; Unfortunately I'm too busy working on my graphic novels to be making tutorial comics! However, I did make some workshop resources on comics here (back when we were the school peer tutors).

We also made tutorial comics on how to get a literary agent and how to make a pitch packet for graphic novelists! They're something of a spiritual sequel to the tutorial comics, where we wanted to share how we broke into the traditional publishing industry.
