The marvelous smell of cheese met Tutter’s sensitive nose. A squeak was heard from up above, on the dining table. Platt’s big head and wide ears peeked over the edge and she waved her paw at him.

“owo what’s this?” said Tutter. Platt beckoned him up to the table, and Tutter climbed all the way up.

On the table stood a candle and a bottle of wine. And there was - oh holy hickory dickory. There was the largest cheese platter Tutter had ever seen.

Cheddar, brie, blue cheese, mozzarella, feta, edam, cream cheese, gorgonzola, gouda - you name it, it’s there. Even tiny babybel cheese! The yummy, rich smell made Tutter’s whiskers tremble and his mouth water.

And there was Platt. She was relaxing in a pool of cheese fondue, with a wine glass filled with McDonald’s cheddar dip sauce. Her yellow fur differed from the brighter yellow cheese, yet she looked the most delicious. Platt squeaked at him and he walked closer. He sniffed the air and then, when he got close enough, he flicked her ear. She smiled at him - as a well as a mouse could smile - and invited him into the cheesy bath.

“You smell nice.”
