Lana Parrilla: one more time, I just got farted on. Ok, one more time, without the farts and…oooo. Wow. That is a real fart, not a tv fart.

From insulting entire towns to Nazi ghosts.
I was rather amused to see an old post of mine about the infamous subtitling error on Doctor Who Series 9 (the one where Twelve was transcribed as saying “Oh, sh*t” instead of, I think, “Ashildr” in The Woman Who Lived) getting reblogged and brought back to life. In that spirit, here’s a very funny article from Digital Spy about other subtitles going pear-shaped.
I’m not sure which is my favourite: the weather forecast for the “Nazi ghosts” or the nature documentary on Netflix that accidentally went out with the subtitles for a stand-up comedy show!
DS devoted an entire article on the documentary-comedy show mix-up. It’s worth reading on its own! There’s even a gallery of screen captures and some of them are just plain art! (Be warned that some of the screencaptures include dialogue that is NSFW and X-rated.)
