What is the point of filming a scene so dark that no one can see the actors? If I wanted to listen to a radio play, I'd go back to the 1930s.

What is the point of filming a scene so dark that no one can see the actors? If I wanted to listen to a radio play, I'd go back to the 1930s.
It is a little hilarious to me (and possibly ONLY me) how many pregnancy storylines we have across shows this season. I think almost every show I watch someone is pregnant or trying to get pregnant. But like, hello TV characters! How are you getting pregnant when YOU CAN’T GET LAID BECAUSE OF COVID RESTRICTIONS?! If I have to see one more hug that should have been a kiss I’m going to lose it.
Someone please end this pandemic so that I can see my favorite couples making out on TV again. Heaven knows I’m not making out with anybody and I miss getting to live vicariously.
Hey I know TV has some kind of weird adopted kids wanting more than anything to find their biological parents kink or something but as someone who was adopted, can I just stick with the family I have? Wild concept but plenty of adopted people already know their biological parents or just aren’t interested in looking for someone who, for whatever reason, didn’t want to keep them, and teaching kids that if they were adopted, there are “real parents” out there who love them and want them only leads to pain and heartbreak because, for many people, that’s just not the case. I have a family. They aren’t perfect, they didn’t make me, but they chose me, and I choose them.

It's a vizio smart tv, it's a couple years old. We were watching YouTube with the roku then it went really dark, and we couldn't see it very well but could here. I unplugged it, then it seemed fine. Now it's completely dark even and we're trying to see if it makes sound but we can't tell if it's on or off. Help!
