Honestly, I think it meant she had feelings for him, but that she actively avoided figuring out exactly what she felt because she’s Bonnie and she’d sooner avoid a complicated situation like falling in love with your best friend (who is supposed to be in love with your other best friend) than demand her own needs/feelings be understood and recognized.

And then Damon left without explanation outside of the letter she didn’t read (more avoidance of her own needs/feelings, but this time to the point of seeming actually pretty contrived, like it would’ve been in-character even for Bonnie to have read that letter imo. But the writers were intentionally driving a wedge between BD, so she didn’t.). So when she incorrectly filled in the blanks he left behind by assuming he just didn’t care enough about her to stay, all of those unnamed feelings got thrown back in her face, in a way even more difficult to handle since it was all so raw and unprocessed.

Are you pessimistic or optimistic about SC in the last 4 eps? I'm feeling royally screwed over by JP. I hate to believe she created the best buildup ship to only pull one over on us and sh*t all over our fandom, but that's what it's feeling like right now. Okay, so most of this question is obsolete since we are down to one episode (thanks for not notifying me, tumblr 😒 ), but I’ll try to address this with one episode left to go. 

Yes, there’s been quite a bit of angst lately, but that’s because we’re reaching the climax of series. The amount of angst Steroline has been through is normal. In fact, the story would be anticlimactic without the tension (refer to my long-ass SE meta explaining narrative structure for more explanation). 

Also keep in mind that the angst ultimately led up to the Steroline June Wedding.  Whatever angst Stefan and Caroline have been through these last couple of episodes, the payoff was Stefan & Caroline marrying each other. I’m okay with that.

Expect the tension to rise again tonight since there is one episode left to go. I won’t venture to guess who dies  (I’ve read conflicting ‘spoilers’ on it), but I’ll leave you with this:

Canonically, Stefan & Caroline are each other’s final romance.

I honestly can't take these speculations and "spoilers" that are making the rounds seriously. - The same people jump from stefan is dying to Damon is dying in seconds. - Klossers as usual have a source that for years say the same thing - sc is dunzo. Although it's never happened even back when things looked far worse than they are now. But they have a "source" y'all!! - Everyone and their mother seems to have an inside source this season (except my mother. Shes got other things to do). Doesnt matter where they live, they'll have a source. Its INCREDIBLE how well connected the world is today ! I'm shook ! - every source seems to have different info based on who they ship. - For example: Before 8B began BDers on twitter were sure and had a source that confirmed that BD will rise .. so much for that. - There's some other source that claims it's Damon who is dying. - 80% of the fandom however is convinced stefan is dying. I don't need a source for that coz that the most predictable shit ever - let's not forget the philanthropic source. The one who speaks spoilers through anon asks on tumblr. Divine revelation I tell u!!!! Then theres me. I got no source. But I get the feeling neither do y'all uglies coz unless tvd is an RL Stine book where you can choose your own ending, all your sources (maybe sans one) r wrong.

And even though I haven't watched season 7 and 8 I'm getting nostalgic atm. Really curious how it's going to end. I'm pretty sure JP is going to break my DE heart and brings the triangle up again! 🤢 And Damon will compel his brother and Elena... Something tells me in comparison the HIMYM finale was gold

I just read a really convincing theory that Damon might die in the TVD series finale. If you can't tell me there's no way it'll happen, at least PROMISE you will cry w/ me if/when it does.

Don’t worry, Damon is not dying lol. A mutual of mine told me the theory of Stefan being the one to die. It will all come full circle: Stefan sacrifices himself for Damon’s happiness because he’s the one that turned Damon into a vampire. I heard Stefan is human now, so Stefan will probably inject the cure in Damon (while Damon protests) so Damon can have the human life he’s always wanted with Elena. Plus, Julie tweeted that Stefan’s pain is coming, while Damon’s happiness is in reach. It wouldn’t make sense for Damon to die (because he already has in the series, not counting his vampirism lol) while just being reunited with the love of his life, Elena.
