Revolution- Nathan || Rebekah

His vampire features were on full display, much like everybody else he had bumped into. He felt weak, light headed, sick to his stomach. All things that vampire’s shouldn’t feel. There was blood on him, blood he didn’t know where it was coming from but it was on him none the less.  His walk was cut short when he made it through the streets, stopping when there was a human standing in front of him, holding a gun. “Really? A gun?” He rolled his eyes, flashing over to him and sinking his teeth into his neck until the man’s head fell point blank to the ground. His lips were soiled with blood, hoping that he would better after getting blood in his system, but it didn’t help. He was dying. Hearing footsteps approaching, he tensed when he realized it was his mother. “And now you know.” He whispered, turning around slowly to meet her gaze. “Your son is a ripper... dad and I wanted to keep it a secret...considering he was helping me get it under control... until now.” He shrugged, brushing off the fact that he was dying from a wolf scratch. Was that even possible? Guess it was tonight.

Each morning that rose, Nathan told himself that today would be the day he would leave the dark, dusty cellar. However; when it came down to it- he held it off. However; today was different. He finally set up the stairs, spotting his mother in the living area. “Mom...” he whispered, taking slow steps over to her. “I’m ready to talk now.”

Right after trusting her humanity-less daughter in the more than capable hands of her father and Rick, although she was worried about how they both were holding up themselves, Caroline just couldn't take it any more and flashed her way towards Stefan's place hoping her best friend would be there. When she failed to locate him, she crashed in front of the burning fireplace wringing her hands together and maybe that's how her sister-in-law found her hours later. But as soon as she felt Rebekah's presence, she turned to face her with her eyes still downcast and glistening from tears. "I failed them Bekah...I failed them all!"
