Adding to the bitter sweet memories
"Many a times, yes, but in the spirit of everything within the past twenty two years, I’d say things took a significant turn for the better" he nodded, still feeling suspicious of the witch. "Quite unfortunate indeed, I’m sure we could have been good friends" he gave a slight eye-roll and leaned against the door frame. "Yes, my sister has a habit of involving people in dangerous situations but nevertheless, that is in the past now, isn’t it, little witch?" he asked, curiously. He had to know if this woman planned some sort of revenge on his sister for whatever she had done.
"Family life has tamed you down Niklaus Mikaelson..." She clucked her tongue mockingly. "And I doubt it. I would have been more of a pawn in your sick games than a friend from what I used to know of you!" She started twisting a dream catcher, resolutely keeping her gaze off him while she decided to break the news of his sister's betrayal. "Well, it depends on how you feel about the favour I carried out for her...more like I was manipulated into doing it and later murdered because your sister and her previous lover were too afraid you'll figure it out. Aren't you a least bit curious to know what happened Klaus?" She finally snapped her gaze upto his face, her eyes mirroring the century long pain she had been forced to endure on the other side. So much for being an innocent!
