we all know grace doesnt drive. but I like to imagine that he loved car rides (source: I like car rides). im imagining he grew up in a more rural area like me, and he fondly remembers always asking to help with errands because he loved watching the trees. he loved the small vibrations of the car, the sound of gravel and pebbles and brick and dirt and asphalt, the grass brushing past him and the sun warming his cheek. sometimes in his adult life he would take the bus to work, just to watch things go by. it's not the same in a city, but it's still nice.

he indulges in this memory with rocky while on erid, not expecting much from it. but rocky is Determined to build whatever makes grace happy in his biosphere. they build him a track. it doesn't go anywhere, but they build him a small trolley that pulls itself along the drag, most likely by use of magnets or something. they line it with trees, and grace cries the first time he takes a ride. it's so sweet, and it feels so much like home. rocky is glad he made his human happy. grace likes to eat his breakfast along the ≈fifteen minute drive it is there and back.

this is kind of petty but i keep getting an ad that says "some things deserve to be watched on the big screen" and by "the big screen" it means your tv instead of your phone and it's driving me nuts. that's not the big screen! that's the traditional opposite of the big screen!! that's like declaring regular golf "minigolf" because you invented an even bigger golf!

The existence of Susiezilla implies that Ralsei Rancher was another game Tenna made to cater to a specific member of the Fun Gang, yeah? I just think that's really cute. Spade King doesn't even acknowledge Ralsei, Queen forgets about him (then makes him a butler), and Flowery... is himself-- but Tenna wants him to have just as much fun as the lightners!

And like. It's something Ralsei's interested in! Even after the chapter ends, and chapter 5 rolls around, Ralsei expresses that he wants to play it! Do we realize how incredible that is? Mr. Our Feelings Don't Matter actually told someone what he wanted!

It's such a small, stupid gag, but it's also kind of huge. Ralsei gets something made specifically for him, and Tenna read his audience perfectly, giving him something he was really interested in!

*sighs* you're not gonna get radiation poisoning from tenna, crt tvs do emit x-rays but they have legally mandated built-in shielding because millions of people had them in their houses and turned on for multiple hours a day. like seriously i cannot emphasize enough how many hours people spent in front of crt televisions and computer monitors. and you're DEFINITELY not going to get radiation poisoning from him when he's not even plugged in because the x-rays are emitted by the operation of the tube and not an ambiently radioactive substance.
