true. its just really dumb watching lydia cry over stile (romantically) all of a sudden, just like in s4 when she was crying about not having money. like they cant do anything interesting w/ her anymore so they gotta make this happen. after the last ep i cant even watch anymore, ill follow the gifs but i cant watch this season if i wanted to. its too much cringing and a dead forced relationship. if it was malia doing all those things, IT WOULD MAKE SENSE *sigh*

Yeah I mean I don’t hold the crying against Lydia or anything but I definitely feel like the romance aspect of Stiles and Lydia’s relationship feels forced upon us at this point, it’s just been too damn long to feel like this happened organically. I liked their partnership, their friendship, but romantically I’ve just never been a fan, especially when compared to the chemistry Stalia and Marrish have.

do u think theres still any hope for stalia or are the writers forcing this stydia notion on to us too much for there to be hope. bc apparently jackson is gonna come back but im like.. its really doubt they would do jackson/lydia but the stalia fandom thinks this and ive kind of given up hope bc of how they're writing stiles. all of a sudden he tells lydia that remember he loves her and all that shit smh

I mean, at this point I feel like they can’t really go back from Stydia. I saw a bunch of interviews with Jeff Davis leading up to this season where he seemed completely set on making it happen. They’ve both said “I love you.” Even if Jackson came back, which has been teased ever since he left and I don’t think is likely, there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that the writers would tie up the show with Jydia and Stalia after all this. I have very, very little hope at the moment I’m afraid, but who knows, I’m waiting to see how things unfold when Stiles finally returns.
