I think there’s some allos we need to put queerplatonic relationships for fictional characters on the high shelf for. Idk

I’m kinda sick of characters that are all “I don’t want sex or romance or to be in a relationship like that I just love my friends and want to keep being friends without them moving on to care more about a romantic relationship” and then 90% of the fan content of that character is “HERE’S VERY EXPLICITLY AROACE CHARACTER IN A QPR!!!!” and treating it as just allo dating that’s acceptable for aroace characters

QPRs can be ‘romance lite’! But also I feel like there’s something really odd when a good chunk of the content I’m seeing for a very explicitly aroace character is just “let me force them into a romance lite monogamous relationship that is considered by the characters to be of higher importance than platonic friendship!! But it’s fine its the aroace version!!!”

Like. Hm. I’m putting QPRs for aroace characters on the high shelf until you make a QPR for non-aroace characters thats not just romance lite and understand it’s actual allonormative-breaking fluid truth. Then you can have it back for aroace characters when you’re not just using it for ‘acceptable’ erasure

Okay so, Bun is a succubus, they look half bunny cause basically in history bunny's were used as a symbol of fertility (which is why they're used to represent Easter) so like, they're half bunny and have horns like a demon

Their backstory isn't anything elaborate, they basically live in a small village were the more chill demons live, and like succubus are part of em

Basically all of them as soon as their born have the purpose to be flings, basically, (dw minors are excluded from this, all of them are ageless but you gotta be an adult (idk if succumbs have different kinds of years of not so just,,, adult-))

You can call a number that's like 669 or smth again it isn't very elaborate and by filling in a forum abt the qualities ya want in your demon and doing some voodoo stuff you get someone that will get you laid, this how succubus get paid

Bun is asexual tho, repulsed as well

And you can't really consent to being summoned for this shit, neither do you choose your work attire, that like appears instantly when ur summoned

So they just

"Hello I don't like getting people laid, but I like comedy and it's scientifically proven our brain has the same response to sex and comedy, I can crack a joke for a few bucks"

Does it work? No

Does it make them quirky? Yea

Sometime it has worked tho and they pretty much did some stand ups with their weird work attire

One day they get summoned and as their about to start the whole spiel but instead they hear

"So I was robbed of my childhood"

Basically they were called by a dude who was having an anxiety attack and couldn't find cheaper alternative so they just cried and scribbled all over the forum and this bitch showed up

So they, without much explanation about the context, decided to listen to this dude, and they become his official therapist, they finally get paid and after a while they end up being qpps cause the other dude belongs to my partner heheheh

That's all really, I just needed to have a character I could relate to ngl (me being surrounded by very sexual peers in a smal town and wanting to be a therapist elsewhere)

Every once in a while I remember how I used to draw Kirby and Meta Knight together a lot because I headcanoned that Meta Knight was Kirby's father and Kirby would do stuff like write "I love you!" and draw a heart and Meta Knight would do stuff like comfort Kirby after he had a nightmare and my friend at the time said "Are you sure you don't ship them because you always draw them really lovey-dovey and with hearts" and at the time I just kind of laughed awkwardly and said "I don't know how Japan feels about same-sex couples" and that was how I got introduced to yaoi but yeah

Man I really wish I had known what a queer-platonic relationship was back then and even though I didn't it was familial love??? Meta Knight was just being a good father smh
