Funny one, what if Jeff had an SO that was normal around friends, but to their enemies and targets, they'd be sadistic and cruel. They can give that icy cold look to their enemies, and they were a strong, messy, serial killer that is willing to fight anyone. Then after a fight they go back to being normal as if nothing happened. How would everyone react? What would Jane and them think?

Jane

You are a fucking danger to society.

Not only are you closely interacting with Jeff, but you’re putting on a sociopathic mask.

Normal to your peers by day and a murderous psychopath by night? 

You’re a disaster waiting to happen, and she’s already plotting your demise.

You’ll be taken out before Jeff, hopefully off guard while you’re putting up a façade. 

But before she takes action, Jane will test your boundaries, just to see if you’ll snap in front of your fellow peers.

Everyone just thinks she’s an asshole, but she knows. 

She k n o w s.

And when she finally prompts the fight, it feels akin to winning the lottery.

In addition to feeling fucking crazy, she was starting to doubt if she should carry through with this plan.

In desperation, she tried to convince Liu to help with your extermination.

Liu

After being told the situation, he didn’t think you were much harm to Jeff.

So honestly, he couldn’t care less about you as long as you’re treating Jeff well.

Jeff attracts people similar to his mindset, so there’s nothing abnormal about a crazy s/o.

But he thought Jane was blowing the situation out of proportion, like she always does with Jeff. (To Liu, at least. In all fairness, Jane is usually right.)

Once the fight breaks out, Liu isn’t too concerned. But the way you just snap back to normal in a click was...unnerving.

Liu will take you aside, snitch on Jane, and then give you a stern talking to about the situation.

If he finds you’re fucking around with Jeff’s mental state with this ability, Liu will personally hunt you down.

Slender

Another crazy baby human that’s attached themselves to a creep.

It’s not surprising to the old being, in fact he predicted this beforehand.

A few glances into your mind as a way to ease his worries about your mental health proved to be efficient in learning your situation.

As long as you don’t lash out on any of the manor residents, Slender will mind his business because he’s still getting souls that cling onto you after coming home from a spree.

Slender was alerted of the altercation, and promptly arrived to see Jane being held in a chokehold by one of his proxies, and Jeff’s s/o pinned against a wall on the other ide of the room.

No fucking clue what to do, he isolated both parties and gave a scolding to Jeff to keep an eye on them if they start getting rowdy like this in the future.

Of course, most of this was to the fault of Jane, and she’ll be forcefully adverted from you and Jeff with the help of Slender and the proxies.
