Choking your lover to death by twisting and pulling the necklace you gave them, instead of putting it on for them like they’ve asked. Whispering apologies into their ear, and watching as they half-turn around to face you, their eyes heavy. You smile and leave a final kiss on their lips, just as the last breath is choked out of them. You let go of the necklace, letting their lifeless body fall back into their chair, and analyze the bruises left on their flesh, around their neck, before brushing the hair out of their face and calmly walking out of the room, fists clenched so your hands don’t tremble.
