Floyd & Jade leech Caregiver headcanons
Floyd will smother you. He loves big acts of affection, like engulfing hugs, and large quantities, like if he's going to give you a kiss he's gonna give you a lot of them instead of just one. Can be a little rough but would never intentionally hurt you, he just has too much cuteness aggression <3
Jade prefers smaller acts of affection, like giving you a head pat or a singular peck. He will often remind Floyd to be gentle and not overwhelming. But he loves you just as much <3
^ Jade has more control over his affection, he is however more easily flustered (not that he'll show it)
Floyd will also bite you (not hard) and doesn't mind if you bite him back. Do not bite Jade though or he will scold you </3
Dressing you up is one of their favorite things to do, but they often quarrel due to wanting you to wear different styles
When they take you out somewhere they glare daggers at anyone who judges you/looks at you funny, tehe <3
Jade likes to take lots of pictures of you, your cute outfits, cute pictures of you and Floyd, etc. And will use them for his secret scrapbook
They worry and try hard not to genuinely scare/hurt you, they care about you a lot and don't want you to see them as intimidating. If they scare/hurt you unintentionally they are quick to apologize and make up for it.
^ Despite this they will tease the life out of you </3 (not maliciously)
Petnames: Elver, (little) shrimpy, pearl, squirt, bud/buddy, kid/kiddo
Jade lets you sit in his lap as he drinks tea, will gladly accept an offer for a tea party
Floyd loves pretending to eat you (in addition to his biting) he will just nibble on you, your cheeks, stomach, etc, while making eating noises and telling you that you taste yummy
Jade will let you watch him make his terrariums, and maybe let you help/touch things. But he loves showing them off to you and teaching you about mushrooms!
Floyd is more sporty, he likes to play games and run around with you! pretend play, pirate play, play fighting, tag, etc.
Jade loves autumn (more mushrooms) and will take you out with him, on walks/hiking to look at mushrooms, after making sure you're bundled up!
^ Floyd does not like the cold at all though, you can get cozy with him indoors!
They both love swimming (obviously). Jade likes to float/relax in the water, he will tell you about the fish/plants/other nature that you see around. He loves when you collect shells and things for him, he will keep everything and use it in his terrariums <3 Floyd however will take this time to be playful, of course, he is not above splashing so watch out. He likes to appear out of the water and spook you, and tickle/touch you under the water to mess with you. I think they would both like the sand, and you all could build a giant sand castle! You and Floyd could also bury Jade in the sand if he takes a nap hehe <3
