give me a sam whose visions never stopped, who’s been able to read the enochian carved into every dream since before he could speak. give me a sam who realizes what it is that he sees every single night, and does not know why but knows it is just one more thing wrong with him. give me a sam who knew the strongest spiritual container on earth is a human body- the only vessel an angel can cram themself inside without it tearing at the seams, so powerful that even michael himself cannot simply take what he wants.

give me a sam who, on the long, nearly silent ride to detroit, explains his exact plan to castiel. give me a sam who grits his teeth and does not make a sound as his friend turns his body into the ultimate vessel. give me a sam who swallows an archangel whole and barely flinches when he struggles in the tiniest recess of his mind.

give me a sam who is finally full of light.

Lucifer visits old woman Josie, out by the car lot.

She gave him a place to stay when he first came to earth and he still visits her at least once a month. They drink tea together and she asks him about his “lovely Detective” and he talks to her about her opera.

Once Lucifer brought Amenadiel and Joise had him do busy work around the house such as changing her lightbulb

sam speaking enochian lives in my head rent free. when sam learns angels are real he starts taking bobby’s books on angels way more seriously, starts learning how to read angelic symbols, writing sigils on the insides of book covers. when he meets cas for the first time maybe he fumbles out a greeting that cas can’t stand to hear him say. when lucifer first appears to sam, he corrects his grammar. when team free will starts to form, cas teaches him defense spells and how to say hello. they don’t call the language angelic for nothing. it is awful and it is music and sam has always loved to learn. in the cage, lucifer tortured sam, but he also talked to him for a thousand years-- and when sam came back he couldn’t understand english. even years later he has bad days where he can’t quite fit the right words in his mouth, memories of lucifer’s whispers creeping up his spine. but this is sam winchester, the boy with the demon blood who still has faith, still has hope. so of course he speaks gentle enochian to the fallen angels. of course he asks castiel in his own language if he’s okay. sam holds every day, ordinary conversations with the people he loves in a holy language.

thinking about how we never found out whether sam was in the cage for! he said that 2-3 minutes on earth was a week hell time in 6x14!!! then adam said it was only 10 years for him!!! but we all just assumed his hell time followed dean’s 1 month to 10 years ratio!!!! that’s still 120 years!! he spent more time with lucifer than he did alive with dean!! how long was he down there!!! im mad! i’m yelling!!!
