Just finished the sixth season of Lucifer
Man, the ending of Lucifer really hits hard. Ive been writing for this show since the first episode dropped and honestly the show and Lucifer has influenced me a lot. Lucifer will forever be a comfort character for me and so will this show and fanbase. Kinda hurts its over but...
What an amazing six season we had :)
He’s very old fashioned
For Americans, Thanksgiving dinner is rapidly approaching, and for some, it will be a welcome delight, one that they may not have been able to participate in last year because of the pandemic. For others, it will be…not quite so delightful. Dynamics are easy to fall back into, especially when everyone is trapped together in close quarters around the table. It depends on the family in question whether sitting through tense silence or risking conversation is more painful. It may be so bad that a big family meal seems like a version of Hell, which brings us to our topic today: one of my favorite scenes in Lucifer Season 5, the titular meal in the aptly named episode “Family Dinner.”
Sniping siblings, old resentments bubbling to the surface, parental disappointment, the awkward in-law — this scene has it all. At the end of the previous episode, God has finally come to Earth, and now he wants to have a meal with sons Lucifer, Michael, and Amenadiel. What a lovely thing for all of them to do together! Sure, the reason he made an appearance at all is that his children were quite literally at each other’s throats, but surely things will stay drama free this time, right? There is a small hint that God may know exactly what’s ahead when he ropes Linda, the greatest therapist in the known universe, into staying for dinner when she was so clearly trying to make her escape.

Dear Lucifer Fandom,
On Jan. 25, 2016, I was 15 years old when the show Lucifer had first aired its pilot at around 8pm while doing my hair I needed to entertain myself. Let me tell you, I had no idea what I was getting into, but down I went into the rabbit hole, and it lead me to the most amazing and unimaginable show that I have ever watched. Let me tell you there is nothing I would change about this show. Lucifer and Chloe best OTP to look up to if you are seeking a very slow burn ship. Maze, Ella, Linda, Dan are the best of friends to admire for their courageousness, sincere emotions, and growth. Amenadiel man if I could ask God for an older brother I would ask him for Amenadiel to be my older brother because even when I don't have faith in myself he will always have faith in me. For all other characters of the show, I am happy they were all part of their story because without them there wouldn't be a story for Lucifer.
I can now say my goodbyes to this show, to the characters I learned to love, admire, and believe in. Thank you to the show, to the people that were part of this story, and thank you Lucifer fandom for sticking through the most cruciating yet emotional slow burn ship and the fearsome force of friends and growth!!
