Roul is especially roughed up after keeping @agent-darkbootie’s twins out of harm’s way. Oba gets a call from Cruz and arrives in time to help Roul finish them off and get the twins back to safety with Val.

The crowd jeered around the surrounded Hero, thrusting pitchforks and torches into the air. "How can you allow this to happen? Is your fear of Supervillain worth more than our lives?" said a teary-eyed mother, cradling her baby to her chest. The father snarled back, "Of course it is, they're a coward who'd rather let bloodsuckers win than put up a fight."

Hero had done a lot for the city. They'd saved it from RoboMan's monstrous inventions, from Professor Lightning's weather manipulation, and that one time Vigilante betrayed the Heroes.

Screams suddenly grated against Hero's ears, the city's people scrambling to get away as Supervillain floated down until a large circle was cleared around them. Their black ironed tuxedo fit them perfectly, a stark contrast to their skin so pale, it was as if they'd never seen the light of day.

But they refused to face Supervillain.

Finally, Hero thought. They're here.
