Friendly reminder!
You do not need schizophrenia to experience delusions and you don't need to be delusional to have schizophrenia.
Delusions can come from many things, including but not limited to delusional disorders (seperate from any other diagnosis), traumatic brain injuries, bipolar disorder, severe depression, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's.
And you can experience schizophrenia without delusions, they are not a necessity. Sure, they may make diagnosis easier but they're not as important to such a diagnosis as people seem to think.
You can also be schizophrenic without hallucinations.
Schizophrenia is a wide spectrum disorder, similar to how autism is a spectrum disorder.
