Our current host is Key, he's 17 but the body is an adult.
We like coining terms, making flags, being silly, listening to music, being positive/spreading positivity, doing activism and doing random other things.
This blog will be a collection of random stuff because we tried having specific blogs for things and we can never keep them alive so here we are.
We won't list all our IDs here, we are making a carrd for that because it is way too much to just list here as we are label hoarders.
We're radqueer and this blog will be a safe space for anyone, though we have a DNI.

You guys are just doing this to hurt us but this is just making us sad and disappointed...
Being called racist and white supremacist while getting slurs (YES, PLURAL) thrown at our head for expressing any races can experience racism and that white people can be discriminated against just proves our point.
Our post was literally calling to stop using slurs, even on people you consider yourself opposed to.
The fact that y'all sent us multiple asks by multiple people with words that we have made clear aren't okay to use on us shows it IS a slur.
It has been used by the masses, is used to hurt or to diminish our opinion.
No matter what you say, this is discrimination. And this racism no matter what.
We're white passing and thus, clearly, our opinion on anything doesn't matter in the eyes of y'all.
Have y'all noticed how we never once said the n word or r slur anywhere despite the hate?
Even to people we disagree with?
That is our point.
We do not stoop so low.
And maybe it's time to think really hard about the fact that you're calling someone racist while being more racist than the person you're calling out for racism.
Every single time when we talk about our experiences, feelings, and thoughts, someone has to bullshit and tell us what we experienced wasn't race related trauma while our bullies and abusers (who beat us up, poisoned us, and worse, multiple times) literally told us it's because we were white looking in a town with a majority non-white population. Even though everyone knew we weren't even fully white.

Yes, to be VERY clear, WE ARE INDONESIAN. It’s not a transID, it's not wishful thinking, we ARE Indonesian.
It's not self-proclaimed, it's not us lying about our race.

Our transIDs come from wanting to be fully Indonesian, not being Indonesian in general.

but the difference between a slur and an insult is that a slur is used in a pejorative way towards a marginalized group
and YES societal context does matter, you can't just turn any word into a slur depending on how you use it. a level of social prejudice and mass contribution is required. that's how oppressive language works

Even if what you said is definitionally correct about the definition of slurs, that specific word has been used by many to mean something demeaning and degrading.
Masses of people decided that the word is a degrading way to speak to white people.
It has been used by many people in that same way.

every slur is rooted in some form of systematic or historical oppression
actual slurs against types of white people would be things like: dago, wop, rusnya, slavish
while not super common nowadays, these words were used to dehumanise different european ethnicities and immigrants
cracker does not follow this pattern and has no background similar to this. it's just some silly word that applies too broadly and holds no actual weight behind it

Definition: a degrading, insulting, or disparaging remark or innuendo meant to shame or hurt.
It's not just about history, it's about intent.
Any word can be a slur if you intend it to be.
We could call you a fork and that could be a slur if we meant it as an insult.
We could call you a pillow and it could be a slur if we meant it insultingly.
If you use it with the intend to insult or harm, it is a slur.
Sorry to burst your bubble but the usage of that word in this context IS a slur.
It is used in an attempt to hurt or insult us.

About website accessibility, I'm not an expert, these are just my thoughts:
First, is there any reason you chose Carrd in particular? I don't know how it works, but personally, I would add toggles, or js/css checks for accessibility properties (for example, prefers-reduced-motion), that way, you can have both.
I do feel like the bubbles would qualify as unnecessary motion, I know some websites have snow and stuff like that, and have a button to turn it off.
The text I would make sure meets AAA, or AA at least. Currently it does not.. I use browser tools for this, but you can manually copy and paste check too https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/
Otherwise though, it all works well. It's easy to follow along, and my screenreader works good.

We chose carrd because it's the only platform that works in an intuitive way for us. It has a short learning curve and is easy to remember as well. At least, for us.
We tried other similar platforms (including things like strawpage) and even making our own site from scratch but we're not capable of working with those nor are we capable of coding so our options are rather limited.
We even tried using Google docs/Microsoft word, discord servers, and even things like notion.
They do not work for what we want to achieve and are really hard to work with when it comes to plans like Project Preservation.
If you know any alternatives, let us know.
Even if we tried it before, we might try it again.

Project Preservation!
Project Preservation is an archival project by The RadQueer Menace Collective and is intended to collect and preserve terms and labels into big pools on interconnected carrds. It's here to make sure they are not forgotten or destroyed.
The main carrd Project Preservation is focused on currently is The Fullest Alterhuman Dictionary, which was announced earlier today.
The carrd for Project Preservation:
An archival project of TRQMC to preserve labels, terms, and coins in an attempt to keep them alive.
Also still in its WIP phase.
Can you support us in this project?
Currently not, we aren't set up for donations and we aren't capable of coordinating volunteers. We are currently working on Projects Preservation for free and alone.
This means the project moves slowly but steadily by hand as we will also not be using AI at any point.
We're slightly late but happy pride month, everyone!
We're not currently capable of making art or working on RQ High cuz we have an art block.
We are, however, working on something that is somewhat connected to identity and pride.
