plot drop 01: the carnvial
BEFORE THE READ:
Please note there are strong trigger warnings for bombings, potential bombs, people being shot and hurt, if these are things that trigger you, please do not read or engage with this post.
THE PREMISE:
The Carnival was going swell, lights were shimmering, kids were laughing, and parents were mingling with friends, but danger was lurking in the shadows, it had been planned for weeks in advance now - for a bomb to planted on someone to then be let off in the midst of everyone as a message to authority that if they ever tried to hijack their plans or take from them once again then this is what would happen - but the FBI were on it, Irina and her team had been following this for a while now and were one step a head which is was she was here with the arranged bomb squad having received anon tip offs a head of time.
But once she was spotted, things needed to move swiftly from there, her hand on her gun as she moved towards the target with the bomb attached to his chest, he was screaming, yelling about death, about his plans and what he wanted, but Irina wasn’t going to let this happen, she wasn’t going to let any life be put in danger ( she may be guarded but she wasn’t heartless ). Shots were fired and people were hurt-... Redwood’s own Brett Hexworth, owner of Hex was hit and found to be bleeding towards his car in amongst the chaos as well as Elena Watson being separated from maybe boyfriend Beau Valentine, no one really knowing if they were reconnected but that’s not all.
Not even the workers of the Carnival were safe as Asa Rodeo as he was trying to help everyone protect and keep them safe out of the way was secure himself as fate had other plans for him, tripping over a stray metal bar in amongst the panic and shuffle of people having his leg trampled on and injured to the point where he couldn’t aid himself in the terror of everything going on. We can all thank Irina Balinska, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and their affiliations for saving the night, securing the bomb and preventing anyone and everyone from being hurt.
THE OOC INFORMATION:
The Carnival Event will be drawing to a close on the last day of January in preparation for our February Valentines Day event.
You're welcome to have your character interact and react with the plot drop whether they attended or not, I feel like this will be like a newspaper article or on the social media’s whether it be Facebook, Daily Mail, Snapchat, Youtube ect.
