Random Headcanon: Though they can eat anything and not feel ill Beelzebub’s stomach is quite sensitive in one respect; they get motion sickness easily if they get shaken up too much on a full stomach there is 50/50 chance the prince will spew a fountain of boiling hot demon acid. They’ll also gag at overly sweet smells like angels
‘Welsh woman talks about the joys of standing over a cauldron all day, and how much she loves her patients vomiting all over her’
“It just feels right you know?” Gwendolyn said, as she wiped the sweat off of her brow, “Nothing feels as good as being sweaty and covered in vomit.”
‘describe your oc in an onion headline.’
Like two seconds ago I was coughing my lungs out...and I almost puked...and I looked over at my brother with no chill and said "minty fresh"

He wiped his mouth with his sleeve and coughed. “It has been three days now…I have no idea why this started…”

Shush Lena || So... therapy;
-- I knew this would be coming. ...and I'm seriously scared like you have no idea.
Basically: since November I've realized that there was something wrong going on with me, as I was constantly having anxiety/panic attacks and a generally rather unstable mood, which was weird even for someone like me (with GAD, BPD, OCD)... however, cash was unavailable, especially since I had to quit my job, so there was no way I could ever go to a proper therapist and get the right medicines...
What happened was to be expected: in the end, I snapped. As I faced what used to scare me the most (vomiting) two weeks ago, I'm constantly living in a general anguish, more than anxiety, which makes me live every second with constant psychosomatic symptoms like nausea (highly uncomfortable, 0/10 would not recommend), trembling, general distress, etc.
I changed therapist about three weeks ago because I absolutely needed to get out from this somehow (suicide? No thank you), but as we were getting to know each other the stomach bug struck, and after a little calculation I realized I just couldn't afford to pay her plus a psychiatrist for the medicines (let's say I would've had to spend about 500€ (570$) per month, which was supposedly 3/4 of my paycheck, so NO), so everything dropped, and guess what? I got back to my old doctor.
...good thing, aside from my extreme anxiety, she found me well. After a little talk, though, she told me that it was probably time for me to get rid of my traumas and tohave a therapy called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), because avoiding them is useless in the long run (man, is she right) and because she thought it was about time for me to live a normal life like every normal 23yo human being. May the Valar bless this woman.
Long story short, today I've discovered I don't only have BPD and OCD, but also PTSD (and repressed memories) which causes my GAD. YAY ME. To solve this, on Monday I will meet one of her colleagues to see which drug therapy suits me the best and then I will have the first session with my doctor and another colleague for the EMDR therapy (first session is FREE thank you doctor thank you ;v;).
.....
WHAT THE HECK IS EMDR ABOUT WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO EXPECT FROM THIS SHIT WHY DOES IT SOUND SO BAD HOW DOES IT WORK DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS COME ON PLEASE I CAN'T BE ALONE IN THIS-!? ...halp?

⊰ ❈ ⊱ — It was a whole week since Lindir started acting terribly different from his usual self. He generally used to be skittish, rather insecure whenever he found himself taking care of political matters with Erestor and Lord Elrond, while lately he was the complete opposite of who Líriel used to call 'brother'. He did not speak as much as he used to, and he constantly looked like he was... brooding. Even his movements were different than usual, but then again, Líriel seemed to be the only one realizing a change in his behavior.
She thought it was best to wait and see how this would have turned out, if it was just a fleeting behavior, although she grew to become rather worried about him, especially once noticing how often his gaze went vacant. He looked like he was... someone else.
And then, that afternoon everything collapsed within seconds, with no apparent reason; they were sitting on a stone bench in the gardens, holding one of their usually lighthearted conversations, and next thing she knew was her brother bent over the bushes. Panic instantly rose in the young elleth as she tried to keep him upright, and the only thing that she could do before his legs gave out under his shaky form was to call for help; a help that luckily arrived in a few moments.
She never left his side as he was carried in the healing halls, then again they could provide nothing else than a bed for him to lie in; aside from the pulse lower than expected there was no apparent reason for him to fall ill so suddenly and violently.
Sitting beside his bed, she was now holding his cold hand, running a damp cloth over his forehead as she dried off the cold sweat as he did many times before with her, when the roles were reversed. Her mind, though, couldn't help but think of when their eyes met before he fainted; she could swear he was finally back to his usual self. It was strange, but there was no reason to deny it anymore; something very wrong was going on around them.
