Aurelia doesn't look up from the novel she is flipping through in her usual spot in the sitting room, though she can feel Cerulean's disappointed stare on her. As much as she tried to read it, she seemed to get stuck on the same sentence, over and over again, unable to process the information and push through to the next line. It was more so difficult with Cerulean here. He hardly bothered her in while she was in here, claiming the sitting room as her sanctuary for peace and quiet from the rest of the household, from the rest of the world even.

But he wasn't wrong either. The spark she had once carried with her, the flame she once stoked inside her had fizzled out long ago. The weight of marriage had been a heavy burden on her shoulders and while she once believed that children would bring back that joy she once felt, but a strenuous pregnancy and birth, followed by an intense period of sadness and difficulty bonding with her twins made her all the more apathetic about her situation. She loved her children, she genuinely did, but it was hard to be involved without reminding herself of the shackles she felt tethered by.

I have struggled with suicide since I was 15, and thanks to my dad, who saw the signs (because we are one in the same. Thanks dad 😅 genetic lottery) and got me into therapy and on medication. I was able to overcome it. Till he passed in 2012, and I did not care what happened to me at all. I threw myself into anything and everything to numb myself.

This time i had my wonderful mom, and best friend that pulled me out.

And things we're great till I had my son. I had a bad case of PPD (season 5 Maddie was a time for me ❤️) and I really thought I was drowning, thank god I got help because the thought of leaving my son by himself scares the shit out of me so I went back to therapy and got back on medication.

Sometimes I think I'm good, but also I feel like that voice is still in my head waiting to pop back out.

I have a huge support system around me now, and I wish everyone had that, so this is me letting everyone know my inbox is always open and I am here for you! ❤️ 💙 💜
