1. Who picked out their children’s names? Is there any significance to it?
Aaaw, I was hoping I could answer this one! As we know from here, Jude’s name came up pretty randomly. Lucas was messing with Jane and Jude started kicking because he was already fed up with both of them haha. Lily is named after Lucas’ mom. It was Jane’s idea to give her the name. When she told Lucas, he almost cried.
2. What traditions do they pass unto their children?
Now this may sound weird but I’d say tea time. It’s a precious moment for Jane and she passed it unto the kids as well. They have tea together almost every day. Sometimes Lucas joins them too when he is not busy. He has his own tradition to share with Jude and Lily too. They go jogging together. Lily abandoned them in time because running wasn’t for her, so it’s a thing that Lucas shares mostly with Jude.
3. Who struggles the most with telling their kids ‘no’?
I would say Lucas. He can’t resist those big puppy eyes and the kids are perfectly aware of that. Whenever he has to say no, he always does his best to explain why.

5. Who intentionally tries to make the baby laugh?
Lmao, would that be okay if I answered both of them desperately wanted to make the baby laugh? You know that Friends episode where Ross and Rachel try to make Emma laugh? Same energy!
6. Who has an easier time calming the baby when they’re upset?

7. Who documents the baby’s “firsts”? (example: first word, first haircut, first birthday, etc.)
Jane. She has two albums, one for Jude, one for Lily. She has pictures with dates and side notes. To be honest, Lucas would love to help her out, but she’s too jealous of her albums and nobody can touch them. They’re her precious.
8. Who gets the most emotional on birthdays?
Once again, Jane. She just gets so happy to see the kids blowing the candles and at the same time she can’t believe how fast time can pass. She is very proud of them, you know.
9. Who does their kid gravitate towards more? Are there any quirks/mannerisms they picked up from being around this parent?

10. Who hangs their child’s art work? Who stores them for safe keeping?
Both of them are incredibly proud of any kind of art work. There was a time where the house was literally full of every possible child creation. Lucas also had them in a little corner of Major Tom and he shows them off any time he has the chance. At one point, it was Lily and Jude who had to ask them to put all that stuff away because it was kind of embarrassing for them.

6. Who has an easier time calming the baby when they’re upset?
Jane is invincible when she starts singing. She has a pretty good voice so in the end it was easier for her to calm the kids down. Lucas had his own ways too, that fortunately didn’t involve his voice because my baby isn’t the best singer out there. He took them for a smol walk around the block and it worked most of the time. But I must say that the real MVP here on the baby calming issue is definitely Buck hehehe. The kids couldn’t resist that silly dog!
9. Who does their kid gravitate towards more? Are there any quirks/mannerisms they picked up from being around this parent?
When Jude was a little kid, his life revolved around his dad. He admires him so much and he definitely copied everything Lucas did. They are both huge nerds, with a passion for dogs. As I said here, he’s become more reserved in time and he started being more on his own, but his admiration for Lucas is definitely still there. He’s taken Hathaway’s temper tho. He has Jane’s energy and humor. Lily was more balanced. She spent time with both Jane and Lucas. She is very calm and pensive like Lucas, but she is stubborn like Jane.

4. Who puts the baby to sleep the fastest?
First of all, I’d say it depends on the baby. For example, Jude takes a lot of work. He is a stubborn one. When he was really really smol, it was easier for Jane than for Lucas. The way she lulled him to sleep was just perfect. As he grew up tho, as we saw here, Judyboi refused to go to sleep without a bedtime story first and Lucas was the number one storyteller. It was easier with Lily simply because she sleeps pretty much everywhere and at any time of day. Anyway I’d say Jane, because whenever Lily sees Lucas, she thinks it’s time to play so it’s a little bit more difficult because he basically has to chase her lol.
11. How does their relationship with their children change as they grow older?
Aaw, well... Both Jane and Lucas spent a good amount of time playing with the kids. They shared a lot of their passions and hobbies with them, to make them feel part of their life as much as possible... Let’s say for example that Lucas usually took them with him to Major Tom any time he had the chance. In time, Jude grew more introvert and reserved. He started being more on his own, and mom and dad respected it. They tried to show their support in a way that wasn’t overwhelming for Jude (even tho Jane couldn’t always succeed... her mama bear instinct was pretty strong). Lily has always been pretty easygoing so she was always treated as equal to both Jane and Lucas. She admires her parents a lot and she is always happy to spend time with them!
